Bentley Motors has delivered four specially customized Bentayga EWB Azure luxury SUVs to The Peninsula Hong Kong, the flagship hotel of The Peninsula group, which has been in operation since 1928. The Peninsula Hong Kong has decided to enhance its transportation service by introducing the long-wheelbase Bentayga model, featuring a more spacious cabin than its competitors. This follows the earlier introduction of four specially designed Bentayga Hybrid vehicles at The Peninsula London earlier this year.



The four special edition vehicles were crafted by The Peninsula in collaboration with the design team from Bentley Mulliner, Bentley Motors' bespoke design division. The unique design perfectly reflects The Peninsula's identity and showcases the exquisite craftsmanship created by Bentley's designers and artisans at the Crewe factory in England.

The Azure model, which emphasizes in-cabin comfort technology, features a distinctive exterior color known as Peninsula Green from Bentley's paint shop. This deep green shade is also applied to the lower bumper's matrix grille and lower trim, creating a modern appearance with a cohesive color scheme. The deep green is complemented by two golden yellow Honey stripes that run along the Power Line parallel to the body and along the Haunch Line near the rear wheel arches. The front cabin doors are adorned with the emblem of The Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, the parent company of The Peninsula Hong Kong and the owner and operator of The Peninsula hotel chain.



The cabin features a 4+1 seating arrangement, presenting a contemporary interpretation of Bentley's classic style, with Saddle brown leather upholstery and black Beluga leather on the door trims, console, and steering wheel. The warm tones of Burr Walnut veneer are used on the dashboard, door panels, and the automatic folding tables behind the front seats, matching the leather hues.

The special edition vehicles are also embellished with Bentley's logo embroidered on all four seats, along with Mood Lighting technology and an entertainment system for the rear cabin, allowing passengers to work and enjoy online streaming during their journey.

Passengers will experience meticulous details from Mulliner, including a custom-made tissue box and used tissue compartment in the rear cabin doors, USB charging ports for the rear cabin, a 70mm metal badge on the rear armrest, automatic folding tables, front seats, and illuminated tread plates custom-made with the words ‘THE PENINSULA’.

The four special edition vehicles will begin service in late November 2024 as a chauffeur-driven transportation service for guests of The Peninsula Hong Kong.
