On the auspicious occasion of “International Clean Air Day” on Saturday, September 7, 2024, V Beyond Development Public Company Limited launched the “V GREEN: Plant for Good” project, initiating a mangrove planting activity at the Ecotourism Nature Study and Mangrove Conservation Center in Samet Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chonburi Province. The event was honored by Mr. Chotinarin Koetsom, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, who served as the chairperson, alongside Mr. Wattanak Thai-Jaroen, Senior District Officer of Mueang Chonburi.

Mr. Chotinarin Koetsom, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, stated: “Today is a great opportunity for this activity as it coincides with International Clean Air Day. Planting trees will create better air quality. I sincerely hope that this activity will serve as an important starting point to inspire and encourage everyone to participate in nature conservation, which benefits themselves, their families, and society.”

In this event, “V Beyond” supported the planting of over 2,000 mangrove saplings and provided equipment for the activity. Mr. Theerapong Sangkhain, Managing Director of Teamwork Consultant Co., Ltd., and staff, who are experts in environmental management, played a crucial role in organizing the event to create a green society alongside “V Beyond.” They also collaborated to develop comprehensive greenhouse gas management strategies for the organization, aiming to sustainably reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout the supply chain. Before the actual planting, Ms. Pornthip Foewari, Director of the Nature Study and Mangrove Conservation Center in Chonburi, provided details on planting methods and the benefits of mangroves to the executives and volunteer staff from V Beyond, along with faculty and students from Burapha University.
