The award was presented by Lord Richard Best, Chairman of the Judging Panel, along with Ms. Audrey Yeo, Asia Pacific Leader of Lixil Group. The judging criteria considered comprehensive design aspects in the Asia Pacific region, including building structure, 360-degree resident friendliness, the harmony of interior and exterior design elements, effective green space in common areas, safety system design standards, and considerations for residents' well-being, such as energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and the integration of modern technological innovations into the design.
