The name HÄFELE is well-known among design enthusiasts and home lovers as a creator of hardware products, furniture fittings, home appliances, as well as world-class sanitary ware and bathroom fixtures, all recognized for their high quality, design, and functionality that meets user needs precisely.

For 30 years, HÄFELE has held a special place in the hearts of customers in Thailand, including both designers and end-users. To mark the beginning of a new decade for HÄFELE as it continues to grow alongside Thai customers, the ‘Designer Collaboration’ campaign has been launched. This year, we are collaborating with three of Thailand's top designers: Mo ASAVA - Polpat Asavaprapha, U - Phresathorn Sukulthai, an Interior Designer from PIA Interior, and Bloody Hell Big Head (BHBH), or Thanawat Sakdawirak, an illustrator, to create special works for HÄFELE Thailand. Häfele Thailand aims to continue collaborating with other Thai designers in the future to inspire residents.

We invite you to journey with HÄFELE through the growth and designs of these three artists, celebrating 30 years in Thailand: always by your side in every living space with quality products designed to meet every need.

HÄFELE entered Thailand in 1994, starting as a business in hardware products and furniture fittings, along with the opening of its first showroom named Bangkok Design Studio on Sukhumvit 64, showcasing a wide range of high-quality products that are more accessible to designers, architects, and homeowners.

Over the past 30 years, HÄFELE has rapidly expanded in sales channels and product offerings. Currently, HÄFELE offers over 16,000 products for construction projects, retail, and online sales in Thailand, including digital door locks, kitchen appliances, sanitary ware, bathroom fixtures, as well as furniture fittings and hardware, where HÄFELE is a market leader.

HÄFELE in Thailand has a long-standing bond and is moving forward to bring Thai people closer to the brand, inviting three leading design experts in Thailand to collaborate on product creation in celebration of Häfele Thailand's 30th anniversary.

“Throughout our long journey in Thailand, HÄFELE has continuously developed products and services to build trust among Thai customers. We have also seen customer interest in well-designed products, and what better way to celebrate our 30th anniversary in the country than by collaborating with leading design teams,” said JOHN CLARE.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary, Häfele Thailand has invited three outstanding design leaders to create products that suit the lifestyles and preferences of modern consumers, enhancing the customer experience.

HÄFELE x ASAVA

Mo ASAVA - Polpat Asavaprapha presents a design that is simple yet timelessly classic, embodying the identity of the ASAVA brand, translated into the HÄFELE Retro Minibar Refrigerator (Cute Series) in the collection named “INTRA ACTION FLORAL.”

“My definition of work is continuous development, realizing that what we create has beauty, but at the same time, the beauty we create can also be expressed in new dimensions,” he said.

This leads to the creation of patterns on the product using striped lines as the key design element, combined with a distinct outline that harmoniously integrates organic floral patterns and the ASAVA brand's signature colors of blue, beige, light blue, and white, showcasing the essence of ASAVA.

“I believe this collaboration will add value to our work and, at the same time, help create value in life to celebrate HÄFELE Thailand's 30 years,” Polpat stated.

HÄFELE x OU SAKULTHAI

U - Phresathorn Sukulthai, a renowned interior designer from PIA INTERIOR, who is familiar with using HÄFELE products closely, brings forth the idea of designing a product that everyone uses in their daily lives: the “30 80 Door Set Collection.”

“Starting from the DNA of the HÄFELE brand itself, which is modern engineering, the challenge is how to make engineering appear softer. That was the inspiration, so we aimed to make the product more gentle,” he explained.

The celebration of the brand's 30 years incorporates the number 3 from 30, reflecting it into the number 8, transforming it back into 80, which translates the concept into design through the touch of the door handle, meticulously designed with rounded edges for user-friendliness and safety.

In addition to its beautiful appearance, contemporaneity is one of the designer's intentions to ensure this piece remains valuable and sustainable over time. This product is a Limited Series, catering to business customers and designers.

“What we design is not digital at all; it is merely a touch. I believe in the feeling and the value of that feeling. A hundred years from now, I think this will hold even more value,” Phresathorn remarked.

HÄFELE x BHBH Bloody Hell Big Head (BHBH), or Thanawat Sakdawirak, an illustrator who sees the importance of home as a refuge from exhaustion and the starting point of every new day.

“The inspiration for my work is to draw a house that allows people to see both the inside and outside simultaneously. I want viewers to see the brand's functions,” BHBH's design comes in the form of a limited edition gift ready to spread happiness through the home space, with the concept that great things start from small details, just like a home that creates happiness and conveys success to its residents.

Therefore, an essential aspect of a home, besides the building itself, is the functionality of various conveniences or even the small details in the house that should not be overlooked. Even if they are just small points, every detail is important as they shape our identity and complete the home.

“Because I believe that happiness or success in everything comes from small things,” Thanawat stated.
