• Sansiri collaborates with Plus Property (a subsidiary) to declare its commitment to drive sustainable development goals across various regions, starting with Phuket, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai before expanding to other provinces.
  • Establishing the "Sustainable Together" roadmap to actively care for and support society through two main pillars: Green Framework and CSR.

Mr. Samatcha Promsirirak, Chief of Staff at Sansiri Public Company Limited

Mr. Samatcha Promsirirak revealed that besides developing real estate projects, Sansiri is committed to being a part of the community sustainably, with a vision to become a leading real estate developer in Thailand that offers comprehensive housing products and services accessible to everyone, while also prioritizing social responsibility and sustainable environmental care. This is achieved through a three-tiered sustainability strategy: within the organization, partnerships with allies, and community engagement, along with a serious operational plan for the "Sustainable Together" roadmap to drive sustainable efforts across regions through two main areas:

1. Green Framework - Promoting social responsibility in our core operations, leading to the concept of Green Living Designed Home, which stems from innovations in Sansiri's precast factory, including the use of eco-friendly materials, energy reduction, solar panel installation, and waste management processes that ensure consumers receive quality homes while minimizing environmental impact. These elements are crucial for Sansiri's sustainability, adapting to the new global context and enhancing housing development in Thailand, being the first to complete all processes from upstream to downstream.

And 2. CSR - Driving change from small initiatives through collaboration with partners and communities to create a green mindset, expanding efforts to transform lifestyles in society towards true sustainability.

“Sansiri and Plus Property recognize the importance of addressing environmental issues and aim to lead the change starting from housing to collaboratively create a green future. Thus, we initiated the "Sustainable Together" project, uniting all sectors from design and construction to property management and residents, along with partnerships with both public and private sectors to establish a truly sustainable environmental management foundation,” said Mr. Samatcha.

Ms. Narumol Apornthanakul, Assistant Managing Director of Residential Property Management at Plus Property Co., Ltd.

According to Ms. Narumol Apornthanakul, an expert ready to address all real estate service needs, “Plus, being close to the community, is in a position to conduct CSR activities with Sansiri, such as effective waste management, leading to fully integrated operations that include educating staff, residents, and nearby communities about waste management. We have expanded these efforts to all projects managed by Plus, currently overseeing more than 400 projects.”

Recently, Sansiri and Plus brought together volunteer employees, co-owners, and residents, along with the Mai Khao Sustainable Foundation, to expand the "Sustainable Together" project through the Beach Sweep activity in Phuket. This involved collecting and sorting waste around the Sirinat National Park ranger station at Layan Beach over a distance of approximately 500 meters. Ms. Michelle Mouiile, the founder of the Mai Khao Sustainable Foundation, provided knowledge on proper waste collection and sorting. This activity aimed to reduce waste entering the sea and restore marine ecosystems, boosting tourism in Phuket. The beach cleanup activities will be held regularly throughout the year, with a total of 150 kilograms of waste collected, including 41 kilograms of glass, 21.3 kilograms of plastic, 2.5 kilograms of metal and aluminum, and 70 kilograms of general waste, which were handed over to Phuket City officials for recycling and upcycling. In addition to the ongoing Beach Sweep activities in Phuket, other areas managed by Plus will also have Community Sweep and Waste to Worth activities to engage residents and surrounding communities in leading sustainable change together.

A representative from the Sansiri Family, Ms. Chatrlada Pisitthanarasee, stated, “This activity has made Layan Beach cleaner, contributing positively to the environment, which is great. Starting to sort waste correctly from my condo every day feels like helping housekeepers and waste collectors, and it benefits the Recycling Center in managing waste.” Meanwhile, Ms. Anastasiia Stepanova said, “Participating in this activity is a great opportunity to help improve Phuket's environment. I am glad that there are organizations and companies that care about the environment. Personally, I have never littered on the streets because I believe this is something everyone should pay attention to. If there are similar activities in the future, I would definitely be happy to join again because it not only helps the planet but also allows me to spend time with family and neighbors.” All of this marks an important step for the real estate business to take social and environmental responsibility seriously, not just for profit but to lay the foundation for sustainable growth for a better future for all lives on this planet.

Sansiri remains committed to advancing its green mission by instilling sustainability awareness in everyone within the organization, implementing short, medium, and long-term plans, and strictly adhering to these plans. The company integrates local identities and cultures into its project designs in each province while maintaining a strong commitment to continuing its sustainability mission within communities and societies in all areas.
