TÜV SÜD Establishes a Testing Center in Nakhon Nayok, Launching a Comprehensive Construction Material Testing Service to International Standards
TÜV SÜD has established a foothold in the Nakhon Nayok Industrial Promotion Zone, Pathum Thani Province by launching a construction material and equipment testing service, offering comprehensive testing and certification for construction materials across an area of over 2,250 square meters. This is the only laboratory in Thailand accredited with ISO 17025 standards, aimed at supporting the testing and certification of construction materials under international standards.

Mr. Richard Hong Si Yen, CEO of TÜV SÜD ASEAN, a leading organization in certification, testing, inspection, assessment, and training under the management of the TÜV SÜD Group in Germany, revealed that the TÜV SÜD Group has invested in establishing a construction material testing service in the Nakhon Nayok Industrial Promotion Zone, Pathum Thani Province, with the goal of supporting the testing and certification of construction materials under international standards. This investment in the testing center reflects a commitment to managing risks that may arise from production technologies, promoting safety to protect people, property, and the environment, and reinforcing TÜV SÜD's vision as a global leader in safety, quality, and sustainability.
The construction material and equipment testing service center in the Nakhon Nayok Industrial Promotion Zone, Pathum Thani Province, covering over 2,250 square meters, provides testing services throughout the lifecycle of construction materials, including quality certification. This testing center is also the only laboratory in Thailand accredited with ISO 17025 standards, managed by a team of experts across various disciplines, including fire testing, glass wall testing, and daylight opening testing, ensuring that the tests meet international standards. This testing service center is the third TÜV SÜD facility in Thailand, with the first located in Pathum Thani Province, which has been emphasizing the requirements of the Thai industry in terms of safety, quality, stability, and sustainability for over 10 years.
Dr. Pichaya Chantharanuwat, President of the Building Inspectors Association stated, “This testing center is a significant project that emphasizes and certifies Thailand's construction materials to international standards, while also helping to promote the development of various infrastructures in line with government promotion policies.”

Prof. Dr. Watcharin Kasalak, President of the Engineering Institute of Thailand mentioned that to continuously improve production efficiency, “Our institute aims to support manufacturers of construction materials and help them compete on the global stage.
