Dr. Nalika Atipak Saengsanit, Managing Director of the Treasury Asset Development Company Limited (DAD Asset Development), which manages the Government Complex celebrating His Majesty's 80th Birthday on December 5, 2007, announced that DAD has opened the D parking building located in front of the Government Complex on Chaeng Watthana Road on January 3, 2024. This 11-story building can accommodate up to 1,600 vehicles, serving government officials, visitors to agencies within the Government Complex, the general public, and those who wish to park and continue their journey using the Pink Line Skytrain (Park and Ride), in accordance with the policy of the Deputy Minister of Finance (Mr. Chulapant Amornwiwat) to alleviate traffic congestion on Chaeng Watthana Road.

In addition to being a parking facility, the D parking building also serves as a transit hub from public transport to the EV Shuttle Bus system within the Government Complex. Therefore, DAD has constructed the D parking building with an internal walkway (Sky Walk) spanning 205 meters on the second floor for walking between the Pink Line Skytrain station, which is now completed and ready to connect to the Pink Line station immediately. DAD has sent a letter to Northern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited (BTS Group), the operator of the Pink Line, requesting to open a 1-meter connection to the Government Complex station (PK 12). It is expected that Northern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited will open the connection within January 2024.
