Air Vice Marshal Chai Rat Thongboriboon, Deputy Governor of the National Housing Authority, revealed that the National Housing Authority has signed an MOU regarding cooperation with the Master's and Doctoral programs in personnel development for housing and environmental management at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and the Master's program in Innovative Engineering for Sustainability at Chulalongkorn University. This is because the National Housing Authority recognizes the importance of developing personnel, which is a crucial human resource that will drive the organization, ensuring public confidence in housing that meets standards and provides a good quality of life in social, environmental, and economic dimensions.

This academic collaboration marks the first step in developing the personnel of the National Housing Authority to possess internationally recognized knowledge in housing standards, as both universities are leading educational institutions recognized for their knowledge base, large databases, and research tools that will lead to practices beneficial to the National Housing Authority in developing housing that meets the needs of low to middle-income citizens for improved quality of life.

King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang will play a significant role in developing the personnel of the National Housing Authority, as both parties will jointly promote and support the exchange of scholarships, knowledge, and the development of personnel from both organizations, as well as share information between agencies in areas such as big data analysis, technology, architecture, community and urban development, and the environment, to ensure knowledge aligns with the needs for housing development in the country. Personnel from the National Housing Authority will obtain degrees at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels in fields beneficial to the organization's mission.

As for the academic cooperation in the Master's program in Innovative Engineering for Sustainability with Chulalongkorn University, there will be a mutual exchange of knowledge in engineering and sustainability for personnel, such as participation in the Chula Engineering program, supporting lifelong learning, and jointly developing activities to enhance capabilities and improve management skills for sustainability, including research, training, seminars, consulting, study visits, and practical training, with the goal of developing the potential and knowledge of personnel from the National Housing Authority. Chulalongkorn University will accept at least 2 personnel from the National Housing Authority each academic year into the Master's program in Innovative Engineering for Sustainability.
