DAD Partners with Thammasat University to Create a Learning Space at the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex for Data Science Education and Big Data Collection
DAD collaborates with the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University to open a learning space at the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex for students to collect data in the field of data science, aiming to create big data that can be used as a database for developing innovations beneficial to users and producing quality graduates for the labor market.
DAD Asset Development Co., Ltd., the management of the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding with the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University (CISTU) to jointly promote research, innovation development, and personnel training in data science.

Building a Database to Enhance Services
Dr. Nalika Atipak Saengsanit, Managing Director of DAD stated that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University to promote research, innovation development, and personnel training in data science for a duration of three years. Both organizations will leverage their expertise to achieve success, recognizing the importance of preparing data science personnel to meet the demands of both public and private sectors, which will benefit the efficiency of the Thai economy both now and in the future.
As a result of this collaboration, DAD will receive high-quality data from CISTU's data collection, which can be used to enhance the services of the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex. For example, traffic data can lead to better traffic management, and weather data can help develop preventive measures. This will benefit tenants and visitors, as well as the general public using the routes within the government complex and surrounding communities. The database generated from this project will facilitate the development of numerous beneficial innovations.

Producing Quality Labor for the Market
Associate Professor Dr. Saifon Sueantrameethi, Acting Dean of the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University noted that DAD is a nationally recognized organization known for its effective and efficient management. The university offers a Bachelor of Science program in Data Science and Innovation, which incorporates Work Integrated Learning (WIL). Therefore, under this collaboration, the university will collect various data dimensions within the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, providing a great opportunity for students to gain knowledge and work experience. Additionally, the program has faculty members with expertise in data science and artificial intelligence who are ready to conduct research, develop technology, create innovations, and provide academic services, benefiting both parties. This collaboration will help develop quality data science personnel for the labor market and enhance the capabilities of both parties to effectively utilize knowledge, advance academic work, research, and improve systems, with the collected data being processed and stored for future use.
