One Bangkok Reinforces Green Smart City Real Estate Project for a Sustainable Future of Bangkok at Sustainability Expo 2023
One Bangkok, a model green smart city real estate project located in the heart of Bangkok, developed by Frasers Property, aims to set a new standard in smart technology for a sustainable environment. This vision of sustainability in all dimensions was showcased at the Sustainability Expo 2023 (SX 2023), the largest sustainability event in ASEAN, through the creation of the One Bangkok Immersive Pavilion, which presents every detail of this world-class real estate project that prioritizes sustainability in every aspect, under the concept of The Heart of Bangkok, a city centered around the 'heart' of its people. Special discussions were held on the topics “The Future of Sustainability and Smart City Living for Better Community” and “Masterplan Design for Smart Sustainable Cities.”

Panot Sirivadhanabhakdi, CEO of Frasers Property Limited, stated, “We are very pleased to continue supporting the Sustainability Expo 2023 for the fourth consecutive year, recognizing the importance of uniting efforts to create change for the future from organizations around the world. We are committed to becoming a net-zero greenhouse gas organization by 2050, setting science-based targets (SBTi) for both short and long terms. Currently, we are developing a project that serves as a model green smart city, which will set a new standard in smart technology for a sustainable environment, namely the One Bangkok project, the first real estate project in Thailand that comprehensively prioritizes sustainability, integrating the concepts of Smart City and Smart Living, aiming to achieve LEED for Neighborhood Development Platinum certification, the first in Thailand, and WELL certification for health and well-being that is sustainable and environmentally friendly, aligning with Frasers Property's vision of Inspiring experience. Creating places for good, which is committed to developing real estate to create meaningful positive outcomes for people, urban and social development, alongside economic growth, to build a strong foundation for sustainable progress.”

One Bangkok Immersive Pavilion presents project details through an Immersive Experience exhibition, allowing attendees to visualize the components and various areas of the project clearly and realistically, along with innovative and advanced sustainable technologies used in the project to reduce environmental impact in three aspects:

Smart Technologies – Experience the Central Utility Plant (CUP), the heart of One Bangkok, a state-of-the-art centralized utility building that consolidates all system operations in one place for efficient project management 24/7. It features a District Command Center with staff monitoring and controlling operations, working in conjunction with the Smart Estate platform and advanced AI systems for optimal management of water and energy usage. Over 250,000 smart sensors and control points are installed, along with more than 5,000 surveillance cameras that can monitor and record data in real-time for security and traffic control systems, reporting traffic conditions within the project. Additionally, Smart Poles provide lighting and high-speed internet connectivity throughout the area. One Bangkok is the first project in Thailand to achieve WiredScore Platinum certification, the highest standard from WiredScore, reinforcing users' confidence in digital connectivity both physically and cyber-wise.
Sustainable Development - One Bangkok is developed in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), incorporating smart technologies for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, such as Electric Power Saver systems for 24-hour backup power management, District Cooling Systems for centralized air conditioning to enhance energy delivery efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Smart Water Management systems for circular water management that can monitor water quality and utilize wastewater treatment technologies for maximum benefit, Construction Waste Management aiming to recycle over 75% of construction waste, such as using concrete waste from piles to create building walls and utilizing leftover lightweight bricks to produce soundproof panels in the project's underpass, Food Waste Management technologies that convert food scraps into fertilizer through Food Waste Composters, and Smart Compactors that reduce space and enhance hygiene in waste storage.
Unparalleled Experiences in One Bangkok - Offering a high quality of life and unique experiences with over 50 rai of open space and green areas, nearly half of the project's total area, serving as a relaxation point in the city and recreational space, including a Linear Park that stretches 35-45 meters wide from the sidewalk to the project's front, situated between Lumpini Park and Benjakitti Park. Furthermore, there are convenient and spacious walkways allowing access to all areas of the project within just 15 minutes, aligning with the 15-Minute Walking City concept, a new urban development trend focused on enhancing people's quality of life. Additionally, there is an Art Loop surrounding the project, over 2 kilometers long, connecting public art pieces, creating a space for learning and creativity for everyone.
