National Housing Authority Prepares for the Biggest Event of the Year: National Housing Fair 2023 with Special Promotions Offering Up to 80,000 Baht Discount from September 1-3
The National Housing Authority is set to showcase 11,492 completed and under-construction housing units from across the country at the grand event, "National Housing Fair 2023," taking place from September 1-3. This event will feature special promotions offering three types of discounts, including a maximum discount of 10% from support measures or the option to rent to buy, a special interest rate for rent-to-own agreements, and an additional discount of up to 40,000 Baht for bookings made during the event, totaling discounts of up to 80,000 Baht. Attendees can also participate in educational activities, free credit checks, job recruitment, community products, home decor items, and affordable goods from the Blue Flag project.

Mr. Thaveepong Vichaidit, Governor of the National Housing Authority (NHA), stated that the NHA has a primary mission to develop housing, communities, and cities while improving the quality of life for residents in these communities in terms of physical, economic, social, and environmental aspects for the past 50 years. The NHA remains committed to its mission to provide housing for approximately 2.27 million households without ownership. To achieve this goal, the NHA is organizing the "National Housing Fair 2023" from September 1-3, 2023, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the NHA headquarters and various provincial offices across the country from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This event is an important opportunity for the public to access standard housing in a good environment at affordable prices, in line with the agency's vision of "Building Homes, Creating Happiness for a Better Quality of Life."
For the "National Housing Fair 2023," the NHA will present 11,492 completed and under-construction housing units, including community housing projects, affordable housing projects, community services, and housing development projects along transportation infrastructure networks (TOD), as well as welfare housing for civil servants. The distribution includes 4,824 units in Bangkok and its vicinity, 1,008 units in the central region, 505 units in the northern region, 2,339 units in the eastern region, 1,329 units in the northeastern region, and 1,487 units in the southern region, featuring various types of housing such as single-family homes, duplexes, townhouses, and condominiums in prime locations across each region for interested citizens to claim ownership.
In addition to the standout projects featured at the event, the NHA is also offering three special discount promotions: First, a maximum discount of 10% from housing access support measures or the option to rent to buy, with monthly rental prices starting at 1,500 Baht for houses with land, 1,200-1,500 Baht for 33 sq.m. units, and 1,000-1,200 Baht for 24 sq.m. units. Second, special interest rates for rent-to-own agreements from the housing development loan program (KBS) for those who do not qualify for bank loans, with interest rates of 1.50% for the first four years for the general public and the same rate for vulnerable groups (the elderly, disabled, single parents, or children purchasing homes in projects where their parents reside) for the first five years. Monthly payments start at 1,000 Baht, or special interest rates for NHA rent-to-own agreements at 4% for the first year for the general public and the same rate for vulnerable groups for the first two years, with monthly payments starting at 1,200 Baht, along with a project closure discount of up to 10,000 Baht for projects with fewer than 10 remaining units. Third, those who book during the event will receive an additional discount of 15,000-40,000 Baht, divided into 15,000 Baht for social projects, 20,000 Baht for commercial projects priced below 2.5 million Baht per unit, and 40,000 Baht for units priced above 2.5 million Baht, totaling discounts of up to 80,000 Baht for participating projects. Details of the criteria, conditions, and participating projects are as specified by the National Housing Authority, along with educational activities, microbial water fermentation workshops, free credit checks, job recruitment, community products, home decor items, affordable consumer goods from the Blue Flag project, and booths from various financial institutions such as the Government Housing Bank, Government Savings Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Bangkok Bank, and TMBThanachart Bank, which will provide advice and services regarding loan applications for customers at the event.
