The company generated revenue of 1.554 billion baht and a net profit of 348 million baht, leading the board to approve an interim dividend of 0.115 baht per share, with the XD sign effective on August 24, and payment scheduled for September 11. In the second half of the year, the company plans to launch 16 new projects valued at 17.5 billion baht, confident in sustaining sales and ownership transfers.

Mr. Surin Sahachato Phokanun, CEO of Britania Public Company Limited (BRI), a developer of housing projects under the concept of “CRAFT a life you love,” stated that during Q2/2023 (April-June 2023), the company moved forward with joint ventures with financial investment partners and landowners to develop 10 housing projects, including single houses, twin houses, and townhomes, spread across 5 provinces such as Nonthaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Chonburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Ubon Ratchathani, with a total project value exceeding 8.7 billion baht.

“The first half of 2023 was a time when we focused on building a foundation for future growth. Collaborating with various partners to develop projects will be a significant step for us to quickly acquire high-potential land into our portfolio, ready to launch new projects significantly in the future,” Mr. Surin said.

For Q2/2023, the company reported revenue of 1.554 billion baht and a net profit of 348 million baht, with a net profit margin (NPM) of about 22%. Key projects contributing to ownership transfers, revenue, and net profit during this period included Grand Britania Ratchaphruek-Rama 5, Belgravia Exclusive Pool Villa Bangna-Rama 9, Grand Britania Wongwaen Ramintra, Grand Britania Rama 9-Krungthep Kreetha, and Britania Bangna-Suvarnabhumi. Additionally, the company successfully sold out the Britania Khukhot Station project, further reinforcing consumer trust.

Mr. Surin further stated that based on the performance in the first half of 2023, the board of directors approved a proposal to the annual general meeting of shareholders to declare a dividend from retained earnings and the company's performance for the period from January 1 to June 30, 2023, at a rate of 0.115 baht per share, totaling a cash dividend payment of no more than 98.1 million baht. The XD sign will be effective on August 24, 2023, with the record date for shareholders entitled to receive the dividend set for August 25, 2023, and payment to be made by September 11, 2023.

For the second half of 2023, the company plans to launch a total of 16 new projects valued at 17.5 billion baht, spread across 5 provinces, including Bangkok, the surrounding areas, and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), covering single houses, twin houses, and townhomes under 4 brands:

  • Belgravia: 2 projects
  • Grand Britania: 4 projects
  • Britania: 8 projects
  • Brighton: 2 projects

This marks a significant increase in project launches in the second half compared to only 4 projects in the first half, as the latter is considered the high season for the real estate business. External factors related to politics and the economy are expected to become clearer, which will help drive sales, ownership transfers, and the company's overall revenue higher in the second half. The company plans to launch 3 projects in Q3/2023, with a total project value of approximately 5.9 billion baht, including Grand Britania Wongwaen-Parchauthit, Grand Britania Thawi Watthana, and Britania Bangna Thepharak.

As of the end of Q2/2023, the company has a backlog of 2.26 billion baht, which is expected to gradually recognize revenue within 2023. With the continuous launch of new projects in the second half and marketing plans targeting additional customer segments, the company believes it will create new sales and ownership transfers while maintaining strong and sustainable growth.
