Dr. Raks Vakitphokathorn, Managing Director of the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM BANK) stated that EXIM BANK is providing working capital support to C.A.S Group amounting to 350 million baht, aimed at enhancing the operational capacity of their comprehensive paper and packaging business. This initiative aligns with EXIM BANK's goal of becoming a Green Development Bank by encouraging Thai entrepreneurs to develop production processes based on the principles of the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG Economy). This support will strengthen capabilities and expand production capacity to meet market demand while also facilitating business expansion into new markets and the CLMV region (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam), which still shows high demand for products.

“EXIM BANK is ready to support businesses of all sizes and industries to prepare for opportunities and the standards of the new global trade era, with the stance of ‘Dare to Develop for Thais’ to drive sustainable growth in the economic, social, and environmental dimensions,” Dr. Raks added.
Mr. Surapol Dararatnaroj, Managing Director of C.A.S. Paper Co., Ltd. mentioned that C.A.S Group is a major exporter in the Thai paper and packaging industry, emphasizing community and environmental responsibility by composting wood waste to achieve Zero Waste. They also conduct demonstration plots to promote knowledge within the local community, thereby increasing their capacity to meet the paper and packaging needs of customers in both domestic and international industrial and service sectors.
