Sky Group has announced its Q1/66 performance, achieving revenue of 820 million baht, a robust 75% growth, with a net profit of 83 million baht. This surge is attributed to the influx of passengers traveling in and out of the country as the tourism and aviation industries recover, boosting revenue from airport-related projects. The company showcases a backlog of 22.9 billion baht and is confident that Aviation Tech will be a key competitive advantage as it continues to expand its business and prepare for new ventures, aiming to strengthen its future as a Beyond Tech Company.

Mr. Sitthidet Mailap, CEO of Sky ICT Public Company Limited (Sky Group), revealed that for Q1/2566 (January-March 2023), the company generated 820 million baht in revenue, marking a 75% increase from the previous quarter (YoY%) and a net profit of 83 million baht. This strong performance is largely due to increased revenue from airport-related projects, such as the Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) and Advanced Passenger Processing System (APPS), which have expanded as Thailand's aviation and tourism sectors recover, leading to a rise in international travelers.

As of the end of Q1/2566, the company has a backlog of approximately 22.9 billion baht in contracts awaiting delivery, with expectations to recognize at least 2.5 billion baht in revenue this year, contributing to strong growth for Sky Group.

“In the past, Sky Group has invested in research and development in aviation-related technology continuously for three years, enabling us to achieve growth despite challenges posed by COVID-19. This is evident in the expansion of Sky Group and the companies we have invested in. We believe that from now on, the global tourism and aviation sectors will continue to grow relentlessly, making Aviation Tech a significant competitive advantage for the country,” said Mr. Sitthidet.

Mr. Sitthidet further stated that for Q2/2566, Sky Group remains focused on developing and innovating new Aviation Tech solutions to enhance airport services for efficiency and agility, increasing the capacity of airports to accommodate the anticipated influx of tourists throughout the year. This will create growth opportunities for Sky Group alongside pursuing bids for both public and private sector projects worth several billion baht, strengthening the company for the future.

At the same time, Sky Group plans to restructure and elevate the organization to become a “Beyond Tech Company”, aiming to be more than just a technology developer and launching subsidiaries to expand new businesses, ensuring long-term stability and strength for the company. This aligns with the vision of Connecting Thailand, reinforcing the country’s technological infrastructure while embracing global technological advancements to foster innovation and develop human resources to enrich the Tech Ecosystem, driving Thailand to be ready for all global changes, with details expected to be announced soon.
