“Pruksa Holding” has showcased its first quarter performance for 2023, achieving a net profit of 652 million baht, an 18% growth, with total revenue of 6,598 million baht, a 10% increase compared to the first quarter of 2022. Continuing with the strategic plan Seed New Business, the company is investing in new businesses that are likely to grow with mega trends to deliver housing that embodies “Good Living, Happy Life.” They announced a joint venture with “Naluri” to provide health and wellness consulting services through a digital platform in Thailand.

Mr. Uthen Lohachitpitak, CEO of Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited revealed the first quarter results for 2023, stating that the growth in both the real estate and healthcare sectors aligns with the plans announced earlier this year, along with effective cost and financial management. The company achieved a net profit of 652 million baht, an 18% growth, with total revenue of 6,598 million baht, a 10% increase. The gross profit margin rose to 32.8% compared to 29.7% in the first quarter of 2022, while maintaining a strong financial position with a low net gearing ratio of 0.25.

In the real estate sector, revenue reached 6,030 million baht, a 6% increase compared to the first quarter of 2022, driven by the transfer of completed condominiums from the third and fourth quarters of 2022 across six projects. Sales amounted to 4,466 million baht, with the launch of the Chapter One All Ram Inthra project in March receiving positive feedback from both Thai and foreign customers, achieving about 50% sales. In the second quarter, plans are in place to launch six new projects valued at 5,910 million baht, comprising four horizontal projects and two condominiums, with expectations of a similar positive response as in the first quarter. Overall, the product portfolio in the third and fourth quarters will see an increase in premium products, making up over 40% of the project value to be launched in that period.

This marks the first time in Thailand's real estate sector that Pruksa has partnered with The Walt Disney Thailand, a leader in the entertainment industry, to create a joyful experience under the campaign “Bringing Happiness Home, Wonderful Deals for a Happy Life.” This initiative aims to turn the dreams of those wanting a home into reality through activities and special promotional deals under the concept “Bring the joy to your new Home, Dream Comes True.” This collaboration reinforces the brand's business image in delivering happiness to every family, aligning with Pruksa's vision of providing “Good Living, Happy Life” to all customers, along with discounts of up to 2 million baht and 16 special deals (details may vary by project; please inquire at the sales office). Customers can choose from 94 projects within the Pruksa group participating in the campaign from now until June 30.

To respond to the group's vision of developing residential properties using low-carbon concrete and precast materials, Pruksa is collaborating with Inno Precast Co., Ltd., the first low-carbon precast factory in Thailand. Following a share swap agreement with General Engineering Public Company Limited (GEL) announced earlier this year, on April 27, the annual general meeting of GEL approved the plan, which is set to be completed by the end of May. Recently, Inno Precast has begun marketing in collaboration with GEL, resulting in over 1,200 million baht in orders and installations (backlog) from external customers, exceeding the company's initial target, marking another success in the separation of this business unit.

In the healthcare sector, the Vimutt group reported first quarter revenue of 412 million baht, a 69% increase compared to the first quarter of the previous year, driven by (1) revenue from medical services at Vimutt Hospital totaling over 186 million baht, with non-COVID revenue growing over 90% and outpatient visits increasing by 34%. There has been an increase in complex treatments and a rise in foreign patients to nearly 10%. Additionally, (2) when combined with revenue from Theptharin Hospital, which reported over 226 million baht in the last quarter.

Recently, the Vimutt group has expanded its mission to deliver housing that embodies “Good Living, Happy Life.” At the end of March, they launched the “Cenera Vimutt Health Service” center for family and elderly health care on Khu Bon Road. In the second half of the year, plans are in place to open two new wellness health centers in Pruksa projects, reinforcing the group's commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and promoting healthy communities. Additionally, Vimutt Hospital has expanded its collaboration with Ramathibodi Hospital to include chemotherapy services and sleep tests, addressing issues related to sleep apnea that affect all body systems, ensuring patients have easier access to quality medical services at reasonable prices while reducing wait times.

Furthermore, a joint venture has been announced with Naluri Hidup Sdn Bhd, holding shares in Naluri Therapeutics, a digital health service provider offering health consultations through an application for both business (B2B) and individual (B2C) clients in Thailand. The focus is on holistic health care with a team of health coaches from Naluri, including psychologists, nutritionists, doctors, fitness coaches, and career coaches, to help clients achieve their health goals, whether it be weight loss, blood pressure management, diabetes control, cholesterol management, or stress management. This represents another significant step in connecting healthcare services to the Thai population and Pruksa residents. With the ongoing expansion of various businesses within the group and the operational plans set by the company, it is expected that the company will achieve its goals as planned.”
