The Lottery Office Ready to Push for L6 - N3 Lottery for the New Government Immediately
Mr. Thanawat Pholwichai, a member of the Government Lottery Office (GLO) stated that regarding the issuance of the 6-digit (L6) and 3-digit lottery, the GLO has submitted a draft announcement for the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO) to review the details of the 6-digit and 3-digit lottery. If SEPO approves and the Ministry of Finance forwards it to the Cabinet, if this Cabinet does not consider it, we are ready to present it to the new government immediately. If the Cabinet approves it, the GLO will proceed with the lottery issuance within 3-6 months.
Furthermore, the GLO is prepared to implement the new government's lottery policy to address issues for the public, believing that the new government will prioritize the benefits of the people. The GLO is also ready to adjust operational costs and reduce the revenue share to the state, while listening to public opinions comprehensively and amending laws in the House of Representatives. The issuance of the 6-digit and 3-digit lottery is one method to help solve the problem of overpriced lottery tickets.
