Mr. Chawalit Thanomthin, CEO of Right Tunneling Public Company Limited (RT), a specialist in civil engineering and geotechnics, revealed that the company held its Annual General Meeting for 2023, where the meeting approved several proposals from the board, including the approval of the financial statements for 2022, the appointment of auditors and the determination of audit fees for 2023, as well as the approval of director remuneration and other agendas.

Regarding the business outlook for Q2/2023, the company expects to achieve growth through the gradual recognition of revenue from ongoing construction projects, along with the acquisition of new projects. The company plans to take on an additional dam and irrigation system project. Recently, the company signed a contract and commenced work on the construction of a head dam and associated buildings for the Klong Pole Water Reservoir project in Rayong Province, valued at 465 million baht, with the Royal Irrigation Department as the project owner.

The company continues to enhance its cost management capabilities, expedite the delivery of existing projects at original cost prices, and take on new projects at prices that reflect actual costs to maintain a good profit margin. The focus is also on expanding the quality and diversity of construction projects, including new types of work such as underground electrical conduit installation and soft soil tunneling in Bangkok and surrounding areas, which require specialized expertise.
