Mr. Traitecha Tangmattatham, Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, stated that in the first quarter of 2023, the company maintained steady growth, achieving total sales of 9.029 billion baht, which is a 22% increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, where sales were 7.408 billion baht, and a 2% increase from the same period last year, which had sales of 8.852 billion baht.
The breakdown includes sales from newly launched and completed condominiums at 2.649 billion baht and sales from horizontal projects at 6.380 billion baht. This positive response from customers across all locations, including completed projects ready for occupancy and newly launched projects, has enabled the company to achieve 25% of its sales target of 36 billion baht. Additionally, the increase in sales from the regional real estate market continues to attract interest and grow steadily, with horizontal product sales reaching 4.052 billion baht, up 17%, and condominium sales at 316 million baht, up 108% compared to Q1 2022. Popular locations include Phuket, Chonburi, Songkhla, and Rayong, where demand for real estate is expected to continue rising due to the return of international tourists. Notably, the launch of luxury horizontal projects under the Elegance and Lakeville brands, both equipped with solar panels to support clean energy, is also highlighted, along with the City Home project targeting the younger generation in Sanambinna - Rattanathibet, and new condominiums under construction and ready for occupancy in all locations and segments, which continue to receive positive feedback.
In the first quarter of 2023, the company launched 4 projects, both horizontal and condominium, in Bangkok, its surrounding areas, and the regions, with a total value of 4.550 billion baht. This includes 3 horizontal projects and 1 condominium project. Overall, the real estate market has shown positive signs of recovery, particularly from the tourism sector, with an increasing number of new projects being launched. The supply that meets the needs of the upper-middle market continues to receive good responses, and competition is expected to intensify compared to the previous quarter, both for residential and investment purposes. Supalai has projects available for sale, including condominiums, single houses, and townhomes in Bangkok, its surrounding areas, and the regions, across all price levels to meet the demands of all customer segments, along with innovations for comprehensive customer service.
The company is confident that 2023 will be a year of continuous sales growth, moving forward with its business plan with readiness in financial cost management, risk management, product and innovation development, marketing and sales, comprehensive services, and environmental friendliness.
