Mr. Olar Chanphu, President of the Home Builder Association (HBA)<\/strong><\/span>, stated that the overall home building business has continued to expand over the first two months of this year (January-February 2023), following a market value of 12.5 billion baht in 2022, which grew by over 9% from 2021. In the first two months of 2023, consumer demand for residential construction remains high, as reflected in the growing number of home construction orders, indicating increased consumer awareness and confidence in the services provided by home building companies.<\/span><\/p>

“We are confident that consumer purchasing power is clearly recovering. We anticipate that the overall market in the second quarter will continue to grow, driven by positive factors from the recovery of consumer purchasing power, particularly among those looking to build homes on their own land, covering both Bangkok, its outskirts, and provincial areas. This will likely push the home building market value in 2023 to reach approximately 13.25 billion baht, a 6% growth from 2022,” <\/strong><\/span>Mr. Olar added.<\/span><\/p>
