ASA Invites Submissions for ASA Experimental Design 2023 Competition
The Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage (ASA) invites submissions for the design competition in the project “ASA Experimental Design 2023,” with a total prize pool of over 200,000 Baht. This year, the competition is centered around the theme of questioning the fundamental characteristics of architecture for the coexistence of humans with other entities. Join us in exploring how architecture can embrace the complexity of environments that include all forms of life, not just humans.
This experimental architectural concept competition is divided into two categories:
- Open category
- Student category
Submissions can be made individually or as a team, with each team consisting of no more than 4 members, and members do not need to come from the same professional field. There are no restrictions on size, form, program, or location for the submissions. Participants are encouraged to use their creativity to the fullest extent possible and are open to various presentation methods that stimulate architectural thinking about how we can coexist with other elements and living beings.
The presentation format must consist of one (1) A1 board (84.1 cm x 59.4 cm) in landscape orientation. The names of participants must not appear anywhere on the board, and all text should be in English. Submissions should be made online using the WeTransfer.com platform, sent as a single file (20MB, 150 DPI) in PDF format only.
Submissions should be sent to the email address [email protected]
Submissions are open from today until April 1, 2023, at 23:59:59 local time in Thailand.
Results will be announced on April 25, 2023. For more information and competition conditions, please visit https://www.asacompetition.com.
