CHIC has revealed its business plan for 2023, focusing on strategies to develop furniture and home decor products, emphasizing innovative designs and functions to target the health market. The company will continue to bid on residential and commercial real estate projects to create profit opportunities, expand Chic Design Studio's customer base for high-end single-family homes and townhomes, and enhance both online and offline sales channels. The revenue growth target is set at 20-25%.

Mr. Kijja Patmasattayasnithi, Managing Director of Chic Republic Public Company Limited, or “CHIC,” a distributor of furniture, home decor, household items, mattresses, and bedding in large standalone stores under the main brands “Chic Republic” and “Rina Hey,” as well as imported products under the “Ashley” brand, stated that the business plan for 2023 focuses on developing furniture and home decor products by incorporating innovations in design and production to add value to products that meet the needs of health-conscious consumers. This is alongside an O2O (Offline to Online and Online to Offline) strategy to enhance online sales channels, which have received positive responses and increasing orders from customers nationwide.

For project-based business, the strategy emphasizes innovative products to create differentiation and expand the customer base, which has a high demand for furniture and decor items, including hospitals, hotels, and design companies. The company will also continue to bid on residential and commercial real estate projects to increase sales and profit opportunities.

In the comprehensive interior design and decoration business, “Chic Design Studio” is preparing plans to expand its customer base targeting the high-end residential market, such as single-family homes, duplexes, and townhomes, which continue to see growth with new project launches and a target group with strong purchasing power from the previous year.

Additionally, in the rental space business, the company is moving forward with plans to enhance and expand rental areas for stores, restaurants, and well-known beverage brands, preparing to open new stores in the Ratchaphruek branch within the first quarter of 2023 and proceeding with improvements to expand the Bangna branch accordingly, which will create additional regular income.

“The business direction for the company in 2023 is expected to continue growing well, supported by the reopening of the country, boosting economic activities in the service sector, tourism, and real estate, which positively affects the demand for furniture and home decor. This presents new business opportunities and challenges for the company in developing furniture products, home decor, and household items that stand out in design and functionality, responding to the health trend that is expected to have significant demand in the future, driving total revenue growth this year to meet the set target of 20-25%,” Mr. Kijja stated.
