The revenue figures for the end of 2022 from the Nusasiri Hotel Group, including My Ozone Khao Yai, Nusasiri Villa Pattaya, and others, show a remarkable growth of over 35%. They have announced that 2023 will be a golden year for the Nusasiri business group, which encompasses tourist attractions, hotels, and wellness businesses, ready to welcome the good news of the reopening to Chinese tourists. Thailand is one of the key destinations that Chinese tourists are eager to visit. It is expected that many Chinese tourists will arrive in Thailand starting from the Chinese New Year holiday at the end of January.

Mr. Wisanu Thepjaew, CEO of Nusasiri Public Company Limited, stated that the management is confident in the company's operations. In 2022, we significantly reduced our losses as tourism began to recover, with the hotel operations of the Nusasiri group showing over 35% growth. This is evident from the figures in December, and there is also good news regarding the reopening for Chinese tourists who are showing great interest in traveling to Thailand, as it is a popular destination for them. Initially, most tourists will be FIT (Free Independent Travelers), who typically have purchasing power and are interested in health-related services, including treatments for long COVID, which have been popular among affluent Chinese tourists in the past.

The Nusasiri group already has a wellness segment, such as WMA or PANACEE, which is ready to accommodate tourists. After the COVID-19 pandemic, tourists are placing greater importance on health and hygiene policies and tourist destinations. The government's measures to welcome Chinese tourists similarly to other nationalities are positive factors for the company and will benefit the revenue targets set for 2023, as the travel of Chinese tourists is expected to grow significantly. This is due to the high demand for travel that has been pent up from the long-lasting Zero Covid measures. Importantly, the revenue from Chinese tourists is expected to be substantial, both in terms of the number of tourists and their spending, especially during the Chinese New Year when Chinese people prefer to travel. Thailand is a popular travel destination and is expected to benefit greatly. Additionally, we currently have tourists from the Middle East seeking health services with us, and this trend is expected to continue to rise. The private sector, like our Nusasiri group, is also ready to support equal treatment for all nationalities,” Mr. Wisanu Thepjaew concluded.
