AIT Reports Strong Performance in First 9 Months with Revenue of 4.997 Billion Baht and 15% Profit Growth, Committed to Stakeholder Interests
Advanced Information Technology Public Company Limited (AIT) has showcased its performance for the third quarter of 2022, reporting revenue of 1.886 billion baht and a net profit of 143 million baht. This brings the total revenue for the first nine months to 4.997 billion baht, with a net profit of 431 million baht, reflecting a 15% growth compared to the previous year. The company remains committed to conducting its business with consideration for the interests of all stakeholders, driving AIT's growth as it approaches its 31st year.
Mr. Siripong Unthapan, Chairman of the Executive Committee and CEO of AIT, a leader in comprehensive information and communication system integration, revealed the company's financial results for the third quarter of 2022 (July-September). The company achieved revenue of 1.886 billion baht, a 25% increase from 1.509 billion baht in the same period last year, and a net profit of 143 million baht, up 22% from 117 million baht in the previous year. This supports the performance for the first nine months of 2022 (January-September), with revenue of 4.997 billion baht and a net profit of 431 million baht, a 15% increase compared to 375 million baht in the same period last year.
The overall economy in Thailand has been steadily recovering compared to the previous year, with relaxed economic policies and increased travel, leading to improvements in trade and services. Additionally, the company has been progressively delivering numerous large-scale projects, such as the procurement and installation of information and communication technology systems for the new Parliament building's Phase 2, the development of a central digital platform connecting social security services for insured individuals, and the project for developing a train tracking system and freight management for the State Railway of Thailand.
The Chairman and CEO of AIT further stated that the company is moving forward with strong management, leveraging the expertise of its executives and team to drive AIT's business growth. Looking ahead, the performance outlook for the remainder of 2022 is expected to yield satisfactory returns. As of November 7, 2022, AIT has a backlog of 6.9 billion baht and approximately 250 million baht in pending customer orders (Waiting for P/O), along with about 1.115 billion baht in bids currently in process.
The company is focusing on expanding its market in Cloud Platform, Big Data Analytics, SDN, Cyber Security, and IoT, in addition to its existing ICT infrastructure sales, to meet all customer needs.
