They are set to officially launch ‘QR Smart Help+’, a new system designed to assist customers in parking lots, the first of its kind in Thailand, to provide safety and convenience for customers using the parking facilities at Central shopping malls. This service will be available starting Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 37 Central shopping mall branches across the country, reinforcing its position as a leader in digital services within the Thai shopping mall industry.
Mr. Lertwit Phumphithak, Deputy Managing Director of Asset Management, stated, “For over 40 years, Central Pattana has been committed to being the ‘Center of Life’ for everyone. We are dedicated to creating innovations and developing solutions that meet the ever-changing lifestyles of people, providing convenience and addressing the needs of customers visiting Central shopping malls with technology that supports various customer journeys, especially in parking services. Continuous data collection has revealed that the most common scenarios customers encounter include difficulty finding parking, blocked vehicles, forgetting the exit route, and vehicle breakdowns. This led to the development of solutions to facilitate and assist with various emergency issues. The ‘QR Smart Help+’ service is designed to help customers in parking lots who require emergency assistance at all Central shopping mall branches nationwide, reinforcing our position as the first leader in digital services in Thailand,” Lertwit said.
Resolve all issues with ‘QR Smart Help+’
Emergency assistance requests: Whether it’s a blocked vehicle, a car that won’t start, or a need for towing, simply scan the QR code on the parking pole and select the assistance menu. Then wait for staff to come to help, as the QR code will identify the parking location and automatically notify the service center.
Finding a parking spot: The system helps remember the parking spot by scanning the QR code located near the customer's parking area. The system will display the pole number where the customer parked, along with directions to the nearest exit from the shopping mall. Customers can save a picture on their phone to help remember the way back to their parking spot.
This service will be available starting November 1, 2022, at all Central shopping mall branches nationwide.
