Housing and Condo Expo Unites Developers Across Thailand to Stabilize Home Prices for Thousands of Projects, Welcoming a Thriving Real Estate Market at Year-End
The Thai Condominium Association, the Thai Real Estate Association, and the Housing Business Association have joined forces with over 200 developers to showcase more than 1,000 residential projects at special prices, aiming to invigorate the real estate market and the Thai economy during the final stretch of the year at the 42nd Housing and Condo Expo. The event, themed 'Lock in Prices, Only at This Event', aims to generate approximately 3 billion baht over four days.

Mr. Chai Rat Thampeer, Chairman of the 42nd Housing and Condo Expo Organizing Committee, revealed that "This year's expo marks the return of the largest housing exhibition in the country after three years. The three organizing associations have received excellent cooperation from developers, financial institutions, agencies, and over 200 brands in the real estate and construction sectors, all participating with full booths. Attendees will have over 1,000 projects to choose from, comprising 32.8% condominiums, 19.7% single houses, 16.4% townhouses, and more. Importantly, developers are committed to keeping prices stable, not adjusting them in line with rising interest rates and inflation, and have prepared the best promotions of the year specifically for visitors to this event."

"The three associations believe that the 42nd Housing and Condo Expo, held over four days, will be well-received, attracting around 100,000 attendees. The real estate market at the end of this year is showing signs of recovery and renewed vibrancy. It is estimated that the transaction value at the event will be around 3 billion baht, with sales expected to comprise approximately 40% vertical projects and 60% horizontal projects. However, in terms of value, horizontal projects are expected to account for 60% and condominiums for 40%."
Mr. Chai Rat further stated, "The Housing and Condo Expo is accessible to interested parties nationwide, not limited to Bangkok and its suburbs. About 70% of attendees are from the Gen Y demographic, aged 21-40. The most sought-after properties are those priced between 1-3 million baht, accounting for 56%, and those priced between 3-4 million baht, making up 32%. Additionally, 80% of those deciding to purchase at the event are doing so for actual residence. This data indicates that the most significant factor influencing purchasing decisions for attendees is the reasonable and valuable pricing of the products. This event represents a golden opportunity not to be missed, especially with current LTV measures allowing 100% loans for both new and second-hand homes, and measures reducing transfer and mortgage fees available until the end of this year. The collective effort of developers to maintain product prices despite rising labor costs, material prices, inflation, and interest rates allows customers to shop for their desired products at the right prices with peace of mind, marking it as the last golden opportunity of the year."

The 42nd Housing and Condo Expo will take place from October 27-30, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Hall 5, LG Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Attendees will find various operators bringing both new and stock products for sale at special prices, maintaining product prices and offering the best promotions of the year, such as discounts, home decoration packages worth up to 4 million baht, free iPhone 14 Pro MAX (125GB), or guaranteed accommodation at My Ozone Khao Yai without a lottery. Additionally, the three associations have prepared significant promotions for customers who decide to book products at the event, giving them a chance to win electrical appliances from Panasonic, totaling over 300,000 baht."
