The PARQ is a lifestyle mixed-use project under the concept of Life Well Balanced, aimed at developing smart offices and retail spaces. It is hosting the contemporary art festival “Art in The PARQ - Season 2”, offering a variety of activities for art and photography lovers, starting with support for the art exhibition at the Bangkok Art Biennale 2022 and the One Shot Knockout photography competition, along with the exhibition of black and white photographs titled “Piece Place PARQ” by Thanapol Kaewpring, as well as other activities such as art markets, craft workshops, creative events, and DIY art projects, running from today until February 23, 2023.

For the first event, the international contemporary art festival “Bangkok Art Biennale 2022”, The PARQ is once again a proud supporter for the second consecutive year. This year's exhibition features “Peasant Park, 2022”, a video installation by Uninspired by Current Events, a graphic artist known for posting artworks that reflect daily events and news. This video installation will showcase images of monuments in Thailand and Bangkok in the artist's unique style, displayed at BAB Café on the 3rd floor of The PARQ. Another work, “Daily Stone, 2022”, by Italian independent artist Francesco Arena, features a large sculpture made from different materials like stone and newspapers, where the stone symbolizes permanence while the newspapers represent the continuous change of daily events, located at the Q Space fountain area of The PARQ from today until February 23, 2023.

Another activity for photography enthusiasts is the One Shot Knockout photography competition, organized by The PARQ in collaboration with the Photographic Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. This exclusive photography competition offers a total prize pool of 125,000 Baht, with only 100 participants accepted through the Photographic Society's website at www.rpst.or.th starting today. The competition will take place on October 29, 2022, at The PARQ, and the winning works will be exhibited on the 2nd floor of The PARQ Live from December 1 to 23, 2022.

Additionally, there is a black and white photography exhibition “Piece Place PARQ” by Thanapol Kaewpring, an independent artist and photographer, capturing the beauty of artworks from The PARQ Collection through a personal perspective, resulting in 15 black and white photographs. These images are uniquely printed on specially coated aluminum, reflecting details that may not be visible from a normal viewing distance, adding dimension to the works compared to standard photo prints. This exhibition will be on display from today until December 31, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the 1st floor of The PARQ project.

The PARQ is committed to supporting and organizing art activities that allow art enthusiasts to participate. Valuing art alongside sustainable project development has made it the first mixed-use project in Thailand to receive environmental building certification under the LEED Version 4 BD+C: Core and Shell standards, the latest standard for designing and constructing sustainable green buildings, promoting the health of building users according to WELL standards, including WELL Mind certification by incorporating art as a key element in nurturing the mental well-being of those within the building.
