“Hom Nasi Kan” is a new cultural tourism destination in Saraburi province, which will officially open with a ceremony on September 24-25, 2022. Attendees will have the opportunity to pay respects to sacred relics, including the Buddha's relics, the golden statue of Phra Boromma Loknath, and a tapestry of Phra Boromma Loknath, along with an exhibition titled “Recreating the Path and Teachings of the Buddha”, the first of its kind in Thailand, using images, light, sound narration, and multimedia videos to engage all five senses, telling the story of the Buddha's sacrifices and efforts in discovering the path to liberation from suffering.
In the evening, don’t miss the highlight of the grand ceremony, a spectacular performance of the traditional Khon dance, featuring a special presentation of “Ramayana” by a private theater group with over 120 performers, along with a puppet show titled “Continuing the Legacy of Arts” by the Joe Louis Puppet Theatre. There will also be local vendors selling products and food, as well as various activities such as a carousel, air gun shooting, an outdoor movie screening, and a Ferris wheel offering beautiful night views.
