Saengchai Group has launched the high-quality tool brand SKIL, featuring a wide range of products including both wireless and wired tools, covering various applications from drilling, fastening, cutting, etc. The brand guarantees top sales in international markets and numerous awards, along with innovative energy management technologies like ActivCell that enhance performance and extend battery life, and RapidCharger which charges energy faster than usual. The company is investing in an experienced team and marketing to build the brand and support sales for dealers, aiming to reach the Top 5 in 5 years.

Mr. Sitthiphat Assavanivet, Director of Strategy and Organizational Development at Saengchai Group revealed that the company has partnered with Chervon Group, the manufacturer of SKIL tools, and has been appointed as the sole official importer and distributor of SKIL tools in Thailand. The 'SKIL' brand is an American wireless power tool brand with over 90 years of history, known for inventing the world's first circular saw, and is currently sold in over 50 countries worldwide, ranking among the top sales in international markets, including Europe and the United States.

The SKIL tool brand is distinguished by its diverse innovations, such as the 20V battery for wireless tools, which features ActivCell circuitry that monitors voltage and shares data with another circuit installed in the tool. The collaboration of these circuits enhances battery performance and extends its lifespan. Additionally, the jigsaw and impact wrench come equipped with a 180-degree LED light, making it easier to work on detailed tasks without casting shadows on the workpiece, ensuring users can see their work clearly in low light. The RapidCharger technology also significantly reduces battery charging time. SKIL tools have received numerous awards for excellence, such as the Pro Tool Innovation Awards (PTIA) and Tools in Action Awards, further affirming the brand's success.

Mr. Arttawath Assavanivet, Director of Tools and Wholesale at Saengchai Group stated that the strategy for product distribution and marketing will focus on supporting tool dealers. The company has appointed distributors in various regions and invested over a million baht to create the SKIL Experience Center at the Saengchai Group headquarters, allowing customers to experience SKIL tools and learn about the brand. In terms of marketing, SKIL will emphasize activities that support dealers in selling products, including setting up a product demonstration team to assist dealers with booth decoration, tool demonstrations, and project presentations on-site. Additionally, the company is investing in online marketing to raise brand awareness and provide in-depth information to customers through various platforms.

SKIL Thailand is also preparing to offer comprehensive after-sales service to customers, including stocking spare parts for all products and aiming to establish service centers nationwide to ensure widespread customer service. SKIL products come with a 2-year warranty on tools and a 6-month warranty on batteries.

Regarding the overall tool market, it is currently valued at around 5 billion baht and is expected to grow at a rate of 5-7% per year, driven by three main positive factors: the resurgence of construction projects, growth in the automotive industry during the first half of the year, and the DIY trend. However, this market is highly competitive, but consumers are increasingly open to trying new brands that offer quality, innovative solutions, and accessible pricing. SKIL Thailand aims to be in the TOP 5 of the tool market with sales of 300-400 million baht in the next 5 years.
