The board has approved an interim dividend of 0.15 baht per share. The company anticipates continued growth in the second half of the year, expecting revenue to increase by no less than 15% as it embraces the digital era and the trends in information and communication technology, driven by the rising demand for comprehensive communication systems (System Integrator; SI). AIT aims to reinforce its position as a leading Professional ICT Solution Provider in the country.

Mr. Siripong Unthrapun, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Advanced Information Technology Public Company Limited (AIT), a leader in information and communication technology, revealed that the financial results for Q2/2022 (April-June) showed revenue of 1,712 million baht, a 22% increase from the previous quarter, with a net profit of 122 million baht. This brings the total revenue for the first half of 2022 (January-June) to 3,111 million baht, which is a decrease compared to the same period last year when revenue was 3,905 million baht. However, despite the revenue decline, the company’s net profit increased to 288 million baht, up 12% from 258 million baht in the same period last year.

Thanks to its strong business capabilities and effective cost management, the overall performance remains aligned with the planned objectives. The information and communication technology industry is seeing an upward trend in digital technology investments, which are considered a crucial business strategy for both public and private sectors in Thailand. This is aimed at strengthening operations and supporting hybrid work environments. Many businesses are starting to plan their customer communications through digital channels to ensure comprehensive and rapid responses, facilitating smooth interactions with customers. Insights gained from these interactions are expected to enhance targeted communications with clients. However, many businesses face challenges in leveraging data to improve operational efficiency. Organizations are looking for quick and straightforward digital communication experiences, alongside restructuring their platforms, which is becoming a major trend in cloud-based communications to address various obstacles. This trend is likely to increase demand for information and communication technology, creating growth opportunities for AIT.

The Chairman and CEO of AIT further stated that AIT is a leading Professional ICT Solution Provider in the country, growing steadily with expertise as a System Integrator and a professional team focused on customer benefits and success. This reinforces the company’s effective management to drive AIT’s business growth. The performance outlook for the second half of 2022 is expected to continue growing from the first half, as AIT focuses on marketing Cloud Platforms, Big Data Analytics, SDN, Cyber Security, and IoT, in addition to its ICT infrastructure sales. The company anticipates full-year revenue growth of no less than 15% from the previous year, projecting total revenue of 7,400 million baht. As of August 5, 2022, AIT has a backlog of 7,300 million baht and approximately 490 million baht in pending customer orders.

Recently, the company’s board of directors approved the payment of an interim dividend from the first half of 2022 (January-June) at a rate of 0.15 baht per share, representing 64% of the net profit. The XD mark will be set on August 25, 2022, with the dividend payment scheduled for September 9, 2022, reflecting the company’s strong financial position and positive business growth outlook, reinforcing that AIT shares are among the good dividend stocks that will consistently provide returns to investors.
