SENA brings together 21 projects of houses and townhomes in a special campaign titled “DETAILS FOR THE BETTER LIVING: Thinking More Carefully for Sustainable Living” in collaboration with global partner HUAWEI, offering promotions with free gifts X3 including a Smart TV from Huawei and discounts of up to 700,000 Baht, with a total value of up to 800,000 Baht, starting today until August 31.

Associate Professor Dr. Kesara Thanyalakphak, Managing Director of SENA Development Public Company Limited, a leading real estate developer in Thailand and the first developer to create a fully solar-powered village, revealed that SENA has been focused on developing green communities in its villages and projects. This includes the use of innovative technology for electricity generation in common areas, providing electric vehicle charging stations (EV Stations), and installing EV Chargers within homes to support future electric vehicles. Currently, SENA has installed solar panels in over 700 homes across all its projects, generating more than 2,000 kilowatts of electricity. Every SENA project is developed with the principles of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) to enhance products and services while caring for society and the environment, aiming for sustainable business growth under the concept of Made From Her: "Thinking More Carefully for a More Comfortable Life". This reflects a meticulous approach in every step to create a difference in both products and services. Additionally, technology is applied in design using environmentally friendly materials, as SENA believes that "attention to detail allows us to provide the best for our customers."

Digital Power, a new business group of Huawei has been operating in Thailand since last year to support the country's carbon neutrality goals. Currently, Huawei has delivered over 2.4 gigawatts of smart inverter solutions to more than 1,000 customers and partners, providing the most cost-effective average lifetime cost of electricity (LCOE). Overall, it has the potential to produce 6.18 billion kilowatt-hours of clean energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 6.16 million tons. In 2021, it is estimated that over 40,000 households installed solar inverter products.

Mr. Logan Wei, Chairman of the Digital Power Business Group at Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. commented on the collaboration between Huawei and SENA Development, stating, "Huawei sees Thailand as a serious player in the ASEAN region regarding carbon neutrality. We will support Thailand's green goals by integrating digital power technology, advanced solutions, and fostering open collaboration with partners across various industries. This collaboration combines the strengths of both parties, with Huawei's expertise in digital energy technology and innovation and SENA's leadership in the real estate sector, to help develop villages and projects in Thailand to adopt clean energy more widely, supporting green economic development, stimulating the solar market, and boosting the EV industry in Thailand simultaneously."

Currently, the number of households in Thailand installing rooftop solar panels to save on electricity costs continues to rise. Market trends indicate that there could be up to 80,000 households installing solar roofs by 2022. This not only significantly reduces household electricity costs but also provides those who install solutions in SENA Development projects with efficient, reliable, and stable inverter solutions from Huawei, contributing to low-carbon development in the country.

Recently, the special campaign “DETAILS FOR THE BETTER LIVING: Thinking More Carefully for Sustainable Living” has been launched by SENA to reinforce the concept of sustainable housing development, joining forces with global partner HUAWEI, a leader in solar energy innovation, to collectively reduce pollution and carbon emissions into the atmosphere (NET ZERO CARBON) and to make clean energy more accessible to the Thai people, while contributing to the fight against global warming. SENA has also incorporated Huawei's equipment into its housing projects, such as the SMART PV INVERTER, which converts direct current to alternating current, and PID Recovery to restore efficiency and reduce the degradation of solar panels, as well as the AFCI function to prevent fires by automatically cutting off circuits. Those interested in installing digital power and solar (PV) solutions from Huawei can receive news or contact the Digital Power Business Group at Huawei Thailand via Facebook: Huawei Digital Power Thailand and Line OA: @HuaweiDPTH.
