Bangkok – Mr. Wisit Malaisirirat, Chief Executive Officer of Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), stated that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the Thai economy, leading to inflation and a rapid increase in the cost of living. This has significantly impacted the daily lives of Thai people, especially vulnerable groups such as bedridden patients, the disabled, the elderly, and underprivileged infants. In response, the company has organized the 'Caravan of Sharing Happiness Year 3 - Sharing Kindness, Spreading Joy' project to deliver assistance and care to those affected by the economic crisis. This initiative is a collaboration between MQDC, residents of its projects, and partners, continuing for the third consecutive year.

The 'Caravan of Sharing Happiness Year 3 - Sharing Kindness, Spreading Joy' project will provide dry food and essential items such as rice, dry food, drinking water, soy milk, diapers, and laundry detergent to bedridden patients, the disabled, the elderly, and underprivileged infants in various communities across Bangkok and its surrounding areas near MQDC projects. This initiative aims to deliver encouragement and support from residents. We sincerely hope that this project will serve as an example to help alleviate suffering and reduce the cost of living for the people.

MQDC invites residents from all projects and those with a public spirit to contribute dry food and necessary items to be delivered to those in need through 'Sharing Happiness Boxes' located in the lobbies of all 12 MQDC projects, including 101 True Digital Park and Icon Siam. The 'Caravan of Sharing Happiness' will transport all collected items to various communities.

MQDC has started accepting donations from June 21 to July 31, 2022, at The Muse, Magnolias Southern California, Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard, Magnolias Waterfront Residences, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Whizdom@Punnawithi Station, Whizdom the Exclusive, Whizdom Station Ratchada-Thapra, Whizdom Avenue Ratchada-Ladprao, Whizdom Connect Sukhumvit, Whizdom Essence Sukhumvit, and Whizdom Inspire Sukhumvit.

Last year, Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) initiated the 'Center of Sharing Happiness' project to extend care during the COVID crisis. Founding partners of the project include MQDC, hospitals under the Principal Healthcare Group (Prince Hospital, Phitsanulok Hospital, Virachsilp Hospital, and nearby clinics), T&B Media Global (Thailand) Company Limited, and EEC Engineering Network Company Limited, with the Phuttharaksa Foundation playing a central role in assisting communities to alleviate hardships in Bangkok and its outskirts, which were heavily affected by the pandemic. The initiative also promoted income for small restaurants impacted by the crisis by supporting around 2,000 small businesses and providing 6,000 boxes of dry food and essential items to communities.
