Ms. Sudarat Charoenketmongkol, Head of Sustainable Development, participated in signing this significant collaboration to promote the adoption of Circular Economy concepts and demonstrate a commitment to elevating the Thai construction industry towards sustainable growth. This initiative aims to maximize resource efficiency. Mr. Nithi Patrachok, President of Cement and Building Materials Business at SCG, a leading manufacturer and distributor of construction materials, was also present as a founding member of the group, alongside 23 executives from leading organizations, for a group photo at CentralWorld shopping center recently.

 

The Circular Economy in Construction Industry (CECI) collaboration group consists of 23 organizations from five sectors of the Thai construction industry, including architectural and construction consulting firms, real estate developers, construction contractors, manufacturers and distributors of construction materials, and construction waste management service providers. Their main mission is to collaboratively manage the entire process from design, selection of environmentally friendly materials, construction, transportation, to systematic management of leftover materials from upstream to downstream. They also aim to exchange knowledge and innovate new solutions for sustainable efficiency in the Thai construction industry.
