RT is moving forward by securing 8 projects in the public and private sectors, including the construction of drainage tunnels, slope protection work, and exploratory drilling, with a total value of 1,896.86 million baht. Construction is expected to begin and revenue recognition to gradually start in Q1/2022, aiming to achieve a backlog of 8.5 billion baht for the year 2022.

Mr. Chavalit Tanomthin, CEO of Right Tunneling Public Company Limited (RT), a specialist in civil engineering and geotechnics, revealed that the company has secured new contracts from both public and private sectors for 8 projects between January and March 2022, totaling 1,896.86 million baht.

This includes 4 signed contracts, namely the construction of drainage tunnels at Klong Thaveewat in the bottleneck area of the Bangkok Drainage Department, a contract for the rehabilitation of Highway No. 2013 from Bo Pho to Khok Ngam, the rehabilitation of Highway No. 21 from Phu Khae Bridge to Manow Wan Intersection, and the rehabilitation of Highway No. 106 from Don Chai to Huai Ya Sai.

Additionally, the company has 4 projects awaiting contract signing, including the construction of stability-enhancing structures for embankments and preventing pipe movement, the rehabilitation of Highway No. 333 from the bridge over the Chao Phraya River to Tha Nam Oi, the rehabilitation of infrastructure damaged by flooding on Highway No. 2216 from Khok Mon to Kok Kathon, and a Pre-Construction Geotechnical Investigation for the dual-track railway project from Den Chai to Chiang Rai-Chiang Khong, Contract 1 from Den Chai to Ngao.

The acquisition of these new projects will help diversify the company's workload. Construction work has already commenced in January, with revenue recognition starting from Q1/2022 onwards, which will contribute to the growth of the backlog to meet the target of 8.5 billion baht.
