Mr. Kandisak Ruensai-chan, Head of Product Design and Innovation, added that the SC Housekathon competition has five key innovation challenges:
- Solutions that make ‘the use and size of space meet the needs of residents’ in the New Normal era.
- Solutions that help ‘address the deterioration of homes to keep them as good as the day residents moved in.’
- Solutions that ensure ‘residents feel safe and secure all day long.’
- Solutions that help residents feel ‘physically well and mentally at ease.’
- Solutions that reduce ‘household expenses.’

Applications are now open for the general public, students, and innovators to compete in the SC Housekathon, a national-level platform to showcase modern home ideas that resonate with every generation, with a total prize pool of over 270,000 Baht, along with trophies and E-certificates from SC Asset. The event will also feature numerous activities aimed at enhancing the capabilities of all participants, with experts from various fields providing knowledge and guidance during workshops and mentoring sessions.
