RISC collaborates with Baan and Suan to disseminate research and innovations, creating easily digestible content launching 10 research projects and innovations for better quality of life at home and improved environmental conditions.

Associate Professor Dr. Sing Intarachuto, Head of the Advisory Committee at the Research and Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), revealed that the RISC, under Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited, reinforces its strategy of enhancing well-being for all lives, or 'For All Well-Being', which encompasses not only residents but also society as a whole. Therefore, in collaboration with Baan and Suan, a leader in design and housing content, they are transforming knowledge from 10 RISC research projects and innovations into easily understandable content to share knowledge and promote quality of life at home, well-being, and sustainable environmental improvements to the public. Fans of Baan and Suan can look forward to one new piece of content each month starting January 2022.

RISC is the first research center in Asia focused on sustainable quality of life development, aiming to be a hub for research information and a network of sustainability researchers worldwide. With a commitment to conducting research to create innovations for the well-being of all living things on Earth, or For All Well-Being, RISC also intends to be a research center that disseminates knowledge to the public to create various benefits broadly. For this reason, RISC has partnered with "Baan and Suan" to share research and innovations in the form of articles, creating a knowledge series that is easy to read and accessible to a wider audience. This allows research knowledge to be passed on to Baan and Suan fans and those interested in applying it in their daily lives and homes through the series "Launching 10 Research Projects and Innovations for Improved Home and Environmental Quality of Life".

RISC and the Baan and Suan team recognize the importance of housing, health, and well-being, which are becoming significant trends that the public is very interested in, especially in light of the PM2.5 dust situation and COVID-19. These circumstances have led many people to stay indoors and Work From Home, increasing their intention and time to focus on housing arrangements to ensure safety, comfort, happiness, and efficiency in work, as well as well-being in living conditions. Therefore, RISC and the Baan and Suan team have distilled knowledge, research, and innovations into easily understandable content, covering topics such as energy and environment (Energy & Environment), like cooling homes, reducing heat, comfortable small homes, innovations for the elderly, construction innovations that address daily problems, and building materials made from recycled waste to reduce resource use. Additionally, topics on health and safety (Home & Well-Being) include unexpected illnesses at home, home accident hazards, making homes safe, and reducing health impacts, as well as behavior and psychology (Behavior & Psychology) such as how to reduce stress through home organization. Readers can follow one new piece of content each month starting this January on the Baan and Suan website www.baanlaesuan.com and FB: บ้านและสวน Baanlaesuan.com,” Dr. Sing stated.

Dr. Sing added that this collaboration marks a continuation of the successful partnership from earlier this year, where RISC and Baan and Suan jointly developed 8 pieces of content on housing, which received a very positive response from the public, reaching over 1 million views. The most popular content included "10 Weaknesses of Homes That Can Lead to Physical and Mental Health Issues," followed by "5 Ways to Adjust Homes to Solve Insomnia Problems for the Elderly," and thirdly, "Why Elderly Homes Should Use Wooden Floors to Prevent Illness." Due to this positive feedback, the content has been compiled into a special edition column, leading to this collaboration, "Launching 10 Research Projects and Innovations for Improved Home and Environmental Quality of Life," utilizing data from RISC researchers who possess knowledge and innovations in housing and well-being, which will be further developed into easily understandable content by the Baan and Suan team. If the public responds positively, they are ready to continue collaborating with RISC to produce ongoing content.
