LPN Inspires Everyone in Society Through the Short Film 'Far Apart but Not Distant'
LPN has launched the short film 'Far Apart but Not Distant' to encourage everyone in society to overcome the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and to drive the economy and community forward together.

Mr. Opas Sripak, CEO and Managing Director of L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited (LPN), spoke about the launch of the short film 'Far Apart but Not Distant', stating that it was created to uplift everyone facing life changes due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The film conveys the message that "even though we may be physically apart, we are never distant from the love and care of our family and community."
“The inspiration for this film came from the experiences of LPN employees during the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to the present. We have witnessed changes in the way people live together in the LPN community, who are fearful of the virus. They have had to practice social distancing and isolate at home, leading to separation from loved ones, family members, and friends. Many have felt confused and anxious. This short film aims to provide encouragement to everyone in society, reminding them that we will stand by each other and support one another, even if we are physically apart; we are still close in spirit and care for one another,” Mr. Opas said.
Mr. Opas also mentioned that “LPN is a real estate development company that develops condominium and residential projects, taking care of over 200,000 residents. Our role is not only to develop quality housing to give everyone the opportunity to own a home, but also to create a caring and supportive community. The production of the short film 'Far Apart but Not Distant' is part of our commitment to making society a better place. Even in the face of anxiety and fear, we have a community that cares, shares, and supports each other (Togetherness Care & Share) to encourage everyone to overcome the obstacles and challenges they face together.”
Mr. Phumi Kuhsriwinit, director of the short film 'Far Apart but Not Distant' from the team Able to, shared the concept behind the film, stating that the brief from LPN was to create a short film that provides encouragement and warmth to people facing the COVID-19 pandemic while being physically distanced from their loved ones and family members, a situation many are currently experiencing.

“The brief we received, combined with my own life experiences, reflects that even though I live with my family, we must maintain distance to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Thus, we designed a story that reflects the current lifestyle of people who must keep their distance physically, while still maintaining feelings of care and concern for one another. This distance is born out of love and care among family members and the community,” Mr. Phumi explained.

Additionally, LPN will organize activities that build on the short film 'Far Apart but Not Distant', including a photo-sharing event to share living experiences under the concept of “Togetherness Care & Share” to encourage people in the community and society.
