SC Asset x Colliers reveal research on homes priced at 10 million baht and above in Western Bangkok, with continuous demand growth, reaffirming their leadership in the luxury home market by achieving over 1.1 billion baht in pre-sales from two new projects under the 'Bangkok Boulevard' brand.

SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited or SC, a provider of Living Solutions aiming to be the number one single-house brand in consumers' minds, announced by Mr. Mongkut Techolarn, Deputy Head of the Residential Property Development Division, that “Despite the economic slowdown, homes remain a basic necessity with ongoing demand. Recently, SC collaborated with Colliers Thailand to summarize research findings for Q1/2021, revealing that the supply of luxury single-family homes priced at 10 million baht and above, particularly in the Petchkasem-Pinklao area of Western Bangkok, has shown continuous growth over the past five years. Factors such as location, convenient transportation, house design, and functional features that meet customer needs are still crucial for this customer segment's purchasing decisions.

The development of high-quality products and services to create homes for everyone under the Human-Centric concept has resulted in strong demand for luxury homes priced at 10 million baht and above, such as SC Asset's Bangkok Boulevard brand, which has received excellent feedback from customers, achieving total pre-sales of over 1.1 billion baht from the launch of two new projects: Bangkok Boulevard Signature Petchkasem-Pinklao, a modern luxury home project on a large 100 square wah plot inspired by the city of Giethoorn in the Netherlands, with prices starting from 20-30 million baht, and Bangkok Boulevard Don Mueang-Chaeng Watthana, a new series of luxury homes called LANAI SERIES, with prices starting from 10-20 million baht, recently launched.

Furthermore, the research and communications department of Colliers Thailand believes that the horizontal property market will continue to be a standout in the real estate sector for 2021. Major developers are preparing to launch new projects continuously in both Bangkok and strategically important provinces, with expectations that sales in the horizontal market will continue to grow, especially among major developers listed on the stock exchange.

In the Petchkasem-Pinklao area, which is another location attracting interest from major real estate developers seeking potential land for horizontal project development to meet the demand of customers looking for housing in this area, there are currently 25 housing projects priced at 10 million baht and above launched in the Petchkasem-Pinklao area, totaling 1,704 units, averaging 340 units per year. This has resulted in land prices in this area increasing by approximately 8-10% annually, with current land prices ranging from 100,000 to 120,000 baht per square wah.
