In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, wearing masks, using Antigen Test Kits, and gloves have become essential for self-protection and monitoring. However, these self-protection behaviors have led to a significant amount of infectious waste, which poses a challenge in managing this waste. Recognizing the impact and dangers of infectious waste, the Thai Real Estate Association has partnered with the "Waste Management for COVID Prevention" initiative.

Under the leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Nanthrika Chanchoo, Vice President of the Association of Women Business and Professional People of Thailand, under the Royal Patronage, the project aims to promote proper disposal of infectious waste as a measure to enhance sanitation and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Thailand.

The initiative will provide a 120-liter red waste bin to participating housing projects, along with red garbage bags (at no cost). The plan is to launch a pilot project in 100 communities across 50 districts in Bangkok.
