The Government Housing Bank (GHB) has received the policy from the Minister of Finance to extend the support period for existing customers under 7 measures affected by COVID-19 for up to 7 more months, until December 31, 2021. This includes options such as installment payment plans (principal and interest reduction), extending the payment period, and debt suspension, allowing customers to pay only monthly interest.

The registration for participation in 6 of the measures can be done through the GHB ALL or GHB Buddy applications on Line from July 1 to July 29, 2021. For measure 12, registration is available at all branches nationwide from June to November 2021.

the extension of support for existing customers under the "GHB Together to Build the Nation Project 2021" consisting of 7 measures until December 31, 2021 (originally ending on July 31, 2021). Currently, there are over 143,100 GHB customers receiving assistance under these measures, with a remaining principal of 137.26 billion baht. Customers can register their intention to extend the support period through the GHB ALL or GHB Buddy applications on Line from July 1 to July 29, 2021 (except for measure 12, which can be registered from June to November 2021 at the headquarters and branches nationwide). The measures include:

Measures 9, 10, 11, and 11 New Entry: Installment Payment Plans (Principal and Interest Reduction)

Customers can choose to pay 25%, 50%, or 75% of their current installment payments. These 4 measures cover customers with both normal account status and NPL status, including those under debt restructuring.

Measure 12: Extending the payment reduction period and debt suspension for existing flat loan customers under the bank's assistance measures, covering new customers with normal account status (not NPL as of January 1, 2020) who have never participated in the bank's measures before. If they are affected by the new wave of COVID-19, they can choose to pay 25%, 50%, or 70% of their current installment payments (principal and interest reduction) or opt for debt suspension if they face severe impacts that prevent them from assessing their business cash flow or operating normally. Registration is available from June to November 2021.

Assistance will be granted from June to December 2021, for a maximum period of 7 months.

Registration can be done at the headquarters and branches nationwide.

Measure 13: Debt suspension and payment of only monthly interest for customers with normal account status (not NPL, not in legal proceedings, and not under debt settlement agreements) who are currently using the bank's previous assistance measures.

Measure 14: Debt suspension and payment of only monthly interest, with a reduced interest rate of 3.90% per annum for NPL debtors and those under debt restructuring. They will lose their debt restructuring rights if they opt for measure 14 and must be those affected by their profession, business, or trade due to COVID-19 and unable to make payments according to loan agreements or debt restructuring agreements or court rulings.

Customers wishing to participate in the measures to extend the support period must upload evidence confirming their income impact through the GHB ALL and GHB Buddy applications for the bank's consideration, such as pay slips, certificates from employers, photographs, or statements, etc.

For customers without smartphones, they can fill out the information to request assistance according to the measures at www.ghbank.co.th. By October 2021, the bank will survey customers' intentions again to see if they are ready to resume normal payments or still affected by income issues and wish to continue receiving assistance until December 31, 2021.
