"CISSA" Prepares to Launch Quality Agent Training Program to Adapt to Changing Consumer Behavior
Aiming to Become the "Leader in Real Estate Investment in Thailand"

Big CISSA Group reveals that the third wave of the COVID-19 crisis has severely impacted the overall real estate market. Vaccination will be a key indicator of buyer confidence, and the government needs to resolve the situation quickly. The company is ready to adapt in every aspect, acknowledging that Thailand still has weaknesses and that the government does not prioritize this sector, forcing the private sector to rely on itself. Recently, the company is preparing to organize a training program for sales agents through "CISSA Agent House" (CISSA Agent House) to create quality sales consultants starting in July 2021. They believe that after the COVID-19 situation improves, major operators will increasingly value sales agents in response to changing consumer behavior, aiming to become the "leader in real estate investment in Thailand" in the future.

Mr. Attanop Panthukhamneid CEO of CISSA Group Co., Ltd., a developer of investment properties in the "Investment Property" (IP) format, revealed that the overall real estate market has continued to decline significantly due to the impact of the third wave of COVID-19. Everything depends on consumer confidence, particularly regarding the uncertainty surrounding vaccines, which could pose future problems. The emergence of new clusters and diseases will also affect the confidence of both domestic and international buyers, making it difficult for businesses to continue. A crucial approach is to have effective vaccines and rapid vaccination, which the government must find a way to resolve. It is difficult to predict when the real estate market will recover.

However, the company has continuously adapted to this crisis in every way and is focusing more on selling projects through sales agents (Agents). The projects developed by the company are in the form of investment properties with significant value. Therefore, investors must have confidence; if we have trustworthy sales agents, it will build confidence among customers. Each Agent has different expertise and customer bases, as well as different marketing tools. Thus, utilizing Agents from various companies is essential.

“If the Agents themselves do not have knowledge and understanding of our projects, we will need to train and test them on both the project details and investment aspects. If they pass the test, they will sign a contract to become project sales agents, with compensation in the form of commissions and sales bonuses. Some may earn returns in the millions. Agents must have knowledge, understanding, and motivation to sell the products, as well as sales skills to persuade customers,” Mr. Attanop stated.

Mr. Attanop further mentioned that currently, Thailand lacks professional Agents with certification, which is a disadvantage for the country. If the government provides support, it would be very beneficial. He believes that associations or groups of Agents should unite and push for this matter seriously. In the past, it has been observed that major operators have their own sales teams without going through Agents. However, he believes that after the COVID-19 situation improves, the use of Agents to sell projects will become more significant as consumer behavior changes, with most searching for information online first and then contacting Agents to make purchases.

It is evident that Agents are extremely important, so the company is striving to create quality sales representatives by establishing "CISSA Agent House" (CISSA Agent House), a subsidiary of CISSA Group, to produce certified quality Agents. In the past, we have conducted training twice a month, each lasting about 3-4 hours, with company experts providing direct knowledge. Starting from the third quarter of 2021, the company will establish a training program that lasts 3 hours a week for one month. Initially, if they are existing Agents with prior knowledge, there will be no charge. For those without experience, there will be a fee, but the exact rate has yet to be determined, with a conclusion expected by the end of May 2021. The program is set to start in July 2021, with instructors being experts in various fields, and the format will change every month. Each course will accept about 30-40 participants, and if there are more interested than the set number, it will be reconsidered.

“Our training courses have received positive feedback, with over 10 new Agents joining to sell for the company, in addition to the existing 20-30 Agents. This will expedite sales closures. We believe that selling through these Agents will benefit other operators as well, primarily focusing on enhancing investment understanding and providing more options. The more Agents there are, the greater the Database and customer reach. Currently, many operators are doing the same as CISSA, each with different selling points. In the future, we aim for CISSA to be the leader in real estate investment in Thailand and gain more interest and confidence from abroad,” Mr. Attanop concluded.
