BMA Board Approves Commercial Space Lease at "Phra Nang Klao Bridge Station"
The BMA board has approved the leasing of commercial space at "Phra Nang Klao Bridge Station" with a budget of 33 million baht, aiming to grant private entities the management rights for the area. The proposal will be submitted to the Cabinet for approval within one month, with construction expected to be completed by April.
Mr. Pakphong Sirikhantharamas, Governor of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), revealed after the board meeting that the committee has agreed to allow the MRTA to lease or grant any rights to real estate in the development project aimed at enhancing travel connectivity around Phra Nang Klao Bridge Station, part of the Purple Line project from Tao Poon to Bang Phai Canal. This will serve as a connection point for trains and boats, as well as the development of the Phra Nang Klao Pier. The proposal will be presented to the Ministry of Transport for consideration and then to the Cabinet meeting within one month.
