Mr. Kampon Poonsonnee, the CEO of Univenture Public Company Limited or UV, announced that on January 12, 2021, the company invested in Univenture BGP Co., Ltd. or UVBGP in collaboration with B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited or BGRIM, holding a 55% stake in the registered capital of 50,000,000 Baht, while BGRIM holds the remaining 45%.

The joint venture aims to invest in energy-related businesses that support real estate development and other sectors, covering various energy projects such as rooftop solar power plants, floating solar power projects, combined heat and power plants, hybrid power plants, biomass power plants, energy solutions services, and smart grid projects, with a target of generating 400-500 megawatts within three years.

Mr. Kampon Poonsonnee stated that this significant collaboration with BGRIM, a major independent power producer in Southeast Asia, will enhance the expertise of both business groups for sustainable growth in the future. It represents an opportunity to invest in new business sectors with potential, aligning with UV's goal of creating a balanced investment portfolio. Additionally, it is consistent with the strategic plans for diversification and opportunistic investment, building on UV's expertise in the real estate sector, including residential properties for sale, office leasing, and other real estate projects.

Dr. Harald Link added that partnering with UV will expand B.Grimm Power's business opportunities in investing, developing, managing, and executing energy-related projects that support real estate development through UVBGP in collaboration with UV.
