Sammakorn Reports Strong Performance Defying Trends, Closing 2019 with Revenue Surpassing 2.3 Billion Baht, Highest in 50 Years, Announces Launch of 5 Projects Worth Over 3.7 Billion Baht
Sammakorn Public Company Limited (SAMCO) has reported its 2019 performance, achieving the highest revenue in 50 years, with total earnings exceeding 2.3 billion baht, an increase of 908.15 million baht, representing a growth rate of 65%. The primary revenue source came from the real estate development sector, which generated 1.802 billion baht, up by 696.99 million baht or 63.03% compared to 2018. The company is also set to launch 5 new projects valued at over 3.7 billion baht.
Mr. Noppon Jenthanarunakul, acting Managing Director of Sammakorn Public Company Limited (SAMCO), disclosed the company's business performance for 2019 (ending December 31, 2019), stating that the past year was highly challenging for Sammakorn due to the global economic slowdown, which significantly impacted the overall economy of Thailand. Additionally, stricter government measures on real estate further complicated matters. However, the company managed to operate according to its planned strategy, resulting in outstanding performance, the best in the last 50 years, thanks to organizational development plans set in the previous year that improved operational efficiency, combined with the dedication of the team and a focus on developing quality products that meet customer needs.
In 2019, Sammakorn Public Company Limited achieved total revenue of 2,302.45 million baht, an increase of 908.15 million baht or 65.13% compared to 2018, which had total revenue of 1,394.30 million baht. This includes an increase in revenue from real estate business of 696.99 million baht, growing 63.03% from the previous year, and revenue from leasing, service fees, and other income of 211.16 million baht, or 73.21%.
Mr. Noppon further stated, “In 2020, the company aims to continue growing steadily, planning to launch 5 new projects with a total value of approximately 3.7 billion baht, and will strive to maintain the revenue target for 2020 to grow continuously.
