ERA Holdings (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is advancing into the real estate sector in Thailand by launching the campaign 'Let’s Move Real Estate Agents and Brokers' to connect agents to international markets through the ERA Connect application, equipped with the ERA Thailand Operating System technology for standardized operations globally. This initiative aims to establish a comprehensive 'marketplace' for real estate services, featuring special event campaigns to stimulate the market in the first quarter of this year with ERA Marketplace. This will support both agents and homeowners, providing accurate and efficient information directly to customers.

         Mr. Woradech Siwatechanont, CEO of ERA Holdings (Thailand) Co., Ltd. revealed that the overall market last year was acceptable for ERA, covering both the secondary market and new projects, despite a decline in growth rates. The demand for secondary real estate transactions continues, but a significant issue is the mismatch between supply and demand, with one party adhering to appraised prices while the other seeks market prices. If the government pays attention to this business by collecting data, especially regarding sale prices, it could help the industry grow and serve as an important economic indicator. The rental market has grown by over 25% from last year, likely due to younger generations preferring to live in condos and not yet ready to purchase their own homes, alongside an increase in foreign workers in Thailand. ERA predicts that the secondary housing market will continue to grow as it distinctly differs from the primary market and has a significant amount of hidden demand in various areas. The key to success lies in having a capable team that is recognized and established in each area, operating under a credible organization in the business. Meanwhile, the new project real estate market continues to grow in some areas, but the crucial factor is the project launch, which differs from the past where the focus was on sales and price adjustments at the end. Another very important aspect is marketing and teams in new areas, such as international marketing, combined with an understanding of consumer behavior in those areas. If there is understanding and execution by a team that comprehends consumer needs, the chances of selling are significantly higher.

ERA is setting the framework and methods for Thai real estate salespeople and brokers as we move into 2020. We can adapt to changes in every necessary situation, and we have also been a catalyst for change in the sales and brokerage industry over the years. This year, we are establishing a new business model by dividing key factors into three categories:

Team - This refers to the sales team and support team: The key to success is changing people's mindsets before changing technology, which has been fully implemented for a year. We are now ready to present a collaborative working program called 'Colorless - No Fees' under the 'ERA Marketplace 2020' initiative, allowing everyone to join this program without conditions, within the scope defined by ERA, which will manage everything to help everyone achieve their sales goals. This program will commence on February 1st.

Technology - This includes the new ERA application that will assist in selling both new projects and secondary homes, namely ERA - TOS and ERA - Connect. Both will enable salespeople to achieve better results and control various factors independently.

Training - This year, ERA has structured learning for real estate salespeople and brokers into three groups: salespeople, managers/executives, and finally, investors. These three groups have distinct differences, and learning what is relevant will yield positive results and help achieve set goals. However, if too much learning occurs, it may lead to confusion and ultimately exiting the business. ERA has organized courses for members to attend free of charge to support the team in performing their duties effectively.

ERA Connect is an application that contains information and details of new projects for sale in the Asia-Pacific region, allowing ERA sales agents across Asia-Pacific and in all countries to access and present various projects to interested customers looking to buy for residence or investment. This connects ERA across all regions and expands sales opportunities for ERA sales agents.

Additionally, ERA Thailand has introduced the ERA Thailand Operating System 2020, or simply ERA TOS 2020, which will be officially launched as a web portal for the real estate market in Thailand, designed and developed by leading regional partners in the Asia-Pacific to assist real estate brokers, both companies and individuals acting as sales agents. The highlight of this system is its ability to manage complex transactions automatically and continuously without interruption, making it suitable for small to medium-sized real estate brokerage firms or SMEs that are just starting out with few employees but have numerous sales transactions. This system is designed to expand functions to assist over 15,000 professional salespeople in the Asia-Pacific and will be launched in Thailand for the first time with ERA Thailand.

     

        The ERA Marketplace event campaign is organized with the main goal of becoming the Signature Event of ERA this year and in the years to come, under the main concept 'ERA Marketplace: Start Strong Together', a market that arises from the gathering of real estate professionals on a Face To Face Platform for the first time since the new year 2020. It is a gathering of buyers, sellers, viewers, shoppers, and real estate gurus, showcasing the best-selected real estate from each agent, including the best deals for buying, selling, and exchanging properties that will only occur at this event.

The event is scheduled to take place five times at five locations as follows:

  • Event 1: Saturday, February 1, 2020 - Eastern Region
  • Event 2: Friday, February 7, 2020 - Bangkok
  • Event 3: Saturday, February 15, 2020 - Northeastern Region
  • Event 4: Saturday, February 22, 2020 - Southern Region
  • Event 5: Saturday, February 29, 2020 - Northern Region
