Thongma, CEO of Pruksa Holding, cares for Thai society by donating personal funds under the name 'Thun Wichitphongpan' to support organizations and foundations that benefit society across the country in areas such as religion, education, and social welfare for a continuous period of 10 years, assisting nearly 100 organizations with a total donation of 284 million baht.

Mr. Thongma Wichitphongpan, Chief Executive Officer of Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited, a leading real estate executive in Thailand with a vision for conducting business responsibly towards society, has always been committed to benefiting society and the nation. He organized the 10th annual personal fund donation event under the name 'Thun Wichitphongpan 10th Edition for the Year 2019', where this year he donated money and medical equipment to 48 foundations and organizations that contribute to society and the nation, totaling 50 million baht. The supported organizations are all dedicated to social welfare, helping many underprivileged individuals improve their lives, reduce social gaps, and promote equality, thereby passing on goodness to strengthen society. The Thun Wichitphongpan fund has been held annually since 2010, and this year marks the 10th year, demonstrating Mr. Thongma's intention and commitment to giving back to Thai society. He will continue to strive for this goodness by donating to various organizations that benefit society and the nation, having already contributed to over 100 organizations with a total of 284 million baht.

Mr. Thongma stated that the 'Thun Wichitphongpan' initiative was established to support religion, education, and social welfare. Specifically, in terms of religion, he aims to support foundations related to the dissemination of Buddhism and various meditation centers to enhance their ability to spread the religion. In education, the goal is to support educational institutions for students who excel academically but lack financial resources, enabling them to graduate and become vital contributors to the country's development. In social welfare, the aim is to support organizations that assist various groups, including children, women, the elderly, and socially disadvantaged individuals.

Khun Paweena Hongsakul, President of the Paweena Hongsakul Foundation for Children and Women, one of the organizations receiving funding for social assistance, stated, 'The Paweena Hongsakul Foundation for Children and Women was established to help those who face injustice in various forms, whether it be issues of rape, prostitution, human trafficking, unfair labor, or various forms of abuse. We receive numerous requests for help every day, and most of the people seeking assistance from the foundation are poor, low-income individuals from rural areas. Many cases require them to stay with the foundation, which cannot operate effectively without cooperation from the government, the private sector, and the public. In particular, the 'Thun Wichitphongpan' has provided support that allows the foundation to operate efficiently and use this funding to address problems and expand social assistance significantly.'

Dr. Veeranut Rojanaprapa, Chairman of the Aree Foundation, which has received funding for promoting religion for eight consecutive years, stated, 'The main activity of our foundation is to disseminate Buddhism. The support from the Thun Wichitphongpan has been utilized in activities organized weekly throughout the year, inviting monks and teachers to deliver teachings to the community, benefiting many Buddhists who come to listen to the Dharma.'

Mr. Kritsada Taotong, a student at Chulalongkorn University, one of the students who received the Thun Wichitphongpan scholarship for education, said, 'The scholarship I received has helped alleviate my family's financial burden as we live in a rural area. I feel grateful and have learned from being a recipient, so I pass on the goodness by becoming a giver, volunteering to participate in educational guidance camps to provide opportunities for high school students in rural areas to pursue higher education. This makes me feel that being a giver brings happiness to myself.'
