Architect Expo '62 Exceeds Expectations with Record Attendance; Businesses Eager to Join Next Year
Bangkok, June 6, 2019 - The Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage and NCC Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. announced the overwhelmingly positive response to the 33rd edition of "Architect Expo '62" under the theme "Living Green." This major architectural exhibition showcased the most innovations in technology and materials for the construction, design, and decoration industries in ASEAN, held from April 30 to May 5, 2019.
Mr. Atchaphol Dusitnanont, President of the Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage, revealed that "Architect Expo '62 was a great success, exceeding our expectations with an increase in attendance from last year, totaling over 442,000 visitors from both Thailand and abroad. More than 3,000 participants attended the ASA Forum and ASA Seminar. The purpose of Architect Expo is to showcase the potential and advancements in the architectural profession, serving as an important platform that connects architects with the public, aiming to benefit both members and society. Our goal is to expand our membership base beyond just architects to include exhibitors and attendees as well. Currently, Architect Expo has become the largest architectural exhibition in the ASEAN region, and we hope to elevate it to a global level in the near future."
On the other hand, Mr. Sakchai Pattharapeecharakoon, Managing Director of NCC Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. stated, "For Architect Expo '62, we invited exhibitors from both Thailand and abroad to showcase their capabilities, products, services, and technologies in architecture and construction materials from around the world, receiving an unexpectedly positive response. According to our survey during the event, 88% of exhibitors felt that participating in this event was crucial for their business as it provided opportunities to meet new buyers, establish business partnerships, and promote new products. Additionally, a satisfaction survey revealed that 98% of attendees were pleased and benefited from their visit, as it was a great opportunity to meet product manufacturers and compare various products and services. This year, we had visitors from 74 countries worldwide, including Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Myanmar, Taiwan, Laos, Japan, and the United States, among others."

Architect Expo '62 guarantees its success through the feedback from numerous exhibitors, both in terms of sales orders exceeding targets compared to last year and in reaching new buyer segments to expand future business opportunities. As a result, next year, many businesses are interested and have confirmed their participation in Architect Expo '63, with over 50% of the exhibition space already booked. International pavilions will include China, Taiwan, South Korea, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, Japan, and Australia.
