"10 Years of ORI: A Journey to Becoming a Real Estate Giant"
Looking back nearly 10 years ago, the name "Origin Property" may not have been familiar to many businesspeople and those seeking housing. However, today, Origin Property Public Company Limited or ORI has risen to become one of the "big players" in the real estate sector, with sales, revenue, and profits ranking among the top in the industry, boasting projects that resonate with the market across all segments.
Under the leadership of CEO and founder Pirapan Jaroonaek, Origin Property is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

From 6 Years to Listing on the Stock Exchange
Pirapan recounts that at the end of 2009, he and his wife, Arada Jaroonaek, registered to establish Origin Property Limited. In 2010, leveraging their combined experience of over 10 years in the real estate sector, they developed their first condominium project named Sense of London, an 8-story low-rise condominium located in Sukhumvit Soi 109, with a project value of 199 million baht.

In 2011-2012, the company continued to develop new condominium projects at a rate of 1-2 projects per year, using various brands. By 2013-2015, they began to expand their project development significantly, with project values ranging from 2,800 to 7,000 million baht per year, aiming to list the company on the stock exchange. Despite rapidly launching new projects, they consistently received positive feedback because Origin understood its customers and developed projects that met consumer needs, focusing on real demand in locations along the still Blue Ocean routes of the BTS, leading to significant success.
The ongoing success allowed Origin to officially list its shares on the stock exchange just 6 years after its founding, with the first trading day on October 7, 2015.
Bringing in Top Stars: Nadech and Sunny to Boost the Brand
2017 was a pivotal year for Origin, marking its rise to fame with the appointment of Thai superstar Nadech Kugimiya as brand ambassador for a full year. The company invested heavily in advertising across all platforms, including TV, online media, BTS advertising, and billboards, making Nadech's image synonymous with Origin's condominium brand. Recently, they introduced Sunny Suwanmethanont as the new brand ambassador and are set to launch several new advertising campaigns soon.
Gathering Real Experts to Create a New S Curve
Besides being known for its focus on the New Gen, with an average employee age of just 28-29 years, Origin has been actively seeking "real experts" in various fields related to real estate from 2017 to 2019 to help create a New S Curve and continuously expand new business types.

Originally focused on developing mid-market condominiums, ORI has now transformed into a comprehensive real estate developer, offering high-end condominiums under the brand PARK ORIGIN, housing projects under the brand BRITANIA, and hotel operations under One Origin Co., Ltd., managing and using the brand of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). They have partnered with Japan's major real estate firm Nomura Real Estate Development, enhancing their projects' international recognition, and provide a full range of real estate services, including housekeeping, rental management, and property management under Primo Service Solutions Co., Ltd.
It can be said that Origin is one of the most diverse and comprehensive companies in the real estate business today.
Moving Towards a Revenue Target of 30 Billion Baht
From the year 2010, when they launched a residential project valued at 199 million baht, by 2019, Origin Property plans to launch residential projects, including condominiums and housing developments, with a total project value exceeding 27,300 million baht, focusing on three main brands: 1. PARK ORIGIN, 2. The Origin, and 3. BRITANIA, which will bring the total project value to over 100 billion baht by the end of this year.
For the sales target in 2019, it is set at 28,000 million baht, with a total revenue target of 19,000 million baht. With a plan to build a portfolio for stable and sustainable growth, Origin aims to achieve revenue from all business segments of 30,000 million baht by 2025.
As a big player in the comprehensive real estate business, it will be interesting to see what the next 10 years hold for this rising star in the industry and what new S Curve they will create.
