3 Real Estate Executives Share Insights on The NEXT Real: A Course Beyond Textbooks!
Because the "world" never stops turning, people are constantly learning, especially those who aspire to succeed in their careers, whether at the operational level or even as a CEO. However, what type of learning yields quick results? It is undeniable that learning directly from experienced individuals is an intriguing avenue in today's era.
The NEXT Real is a 4-month course designed for genuine real estate developers, aimed at nurturing knowledge, perspectives, and business skills for entrepreneurs in the real estate sector. It features experience sharing from leading speakers, focusing on insights beyond textbooks, revealing new opportunities such as Trick of Trade, project management concepts, Trend Design in project decoration, and a network of real estate developers from across the country.
Over the past 3 years, The NEXT Real has provided opportunities for both insiders and outsiders in the real estate industry to learn directly from seasoned experts through 6 cohorts, totaling over 700 participants. This includes 3 new executives who are constantly striving for self-improvement.

Mr. Vichai Chulaloharakul, Co-CEO of W-Chinwa Co., Ltd., a representative of The NEXT Real cohort 5, shared that although he has worked in marketing and management in both the Thai and international markets, he considers himself a newcomer in the real estate sector, having entered the field just over 2 years ago. As an executive at W-Chinwa, he seeks to deepen his knowledge in this area. Upon researching, he discovered The NEXT Real, a course that teaches through experience sharing rather than traditional textbooks, making it suitable for professionals who want to apply the experiences and networks of industry insiders.
“We gain new perspectives from both the speakers and peers in the cohort, as everyone brings their own insights, which we can immediately apply. It’s very effective. Most participants are inquisitive, including those with experience and those eager to develop. They ask questions both during and outside of sessions, allowing us to think critically and apply insights in various dimensions,” he noted.

Meanwhile, a representative from The NEXT Real cohort 6, Dr. Torsak Lertsriskulrat, Managing Director of Eastern Star Real Estate Public Company Limited, stated that in the workplace, reaching a certain point requires expanding one’s thinking. It’s not feasible to think and do everything alone, so learning from the experiences of others is preferable. Listening to diverse perspectives from experienced individuals allows us to analyze and select what is suitable for ourselves.
“We gain a 360-degree perspective, hearing from fellow developers and related parties such as banks and designers. We learn about products, operations, construction, personnel management, and the overall market. The experiences shared by the speakers here are something we can pass on to our management team,” he added. Additionally, having the opportunity to welcome everyone to visit projects provides valuable feedback that can be leveraged further. Importantly, we also make friends with whom we can converse casually, rather than strictly in a business context.

Furthermore, Ms. Kritsathana Suapaithan, Owner and Director of Business Development at P Property and Development Co., Ltd., a highly capable female executive representing The NEXT Real cohort 6, mentioned that she fully entered the real estate industry in 2018 with the development of a horizontal project. Prior to that, she had only knowledge and experience from working on projects with her family, starting from scratch. Participating in The NEXT Real allowed her to hear speakers share experiences from various angles, boosting her confidence in real estate business. She could leverage the knowledge of experts to enhance her business. Recently, her first horizontal project achieved 80% sales within just a few months after launch, proving that learning is not confined to textbooks but also comes from the invaluable experiences of those who have done it.
The NEXT Real course accepts participants from four groups: 1. Real estate developers (60%), 2. Businesses related to real estate (20%), 3. Landowners looking to develop or pre-develop (10%), and 4. General interested individuals (10%). The 7th cohort will meet every Friday from March to June 2019, while the 8th cohort will meet every Friday from August to November 2019. Both cohorts will have opportunities to visit leading real estate companies in Thailand and participate in various activities with the network of The NEXT Real students from across the country, all of whom are part of the Real Estate Ecosystem.
