Due to the impact of Typhoon Pabuk, which has caused significant damage across several provinces in the southern region of Thailand, many residents have been affected. Kasikorn Bank has therefore introduced urgent measures to alleviate the burden on both individual and business customers impacted by the disaster. This includes a maximum deferment of principal payments for up to 6 months, as well as support for repair funds to restore businesses and homes. The bank is also deploying teams to the affected areas to provide close assistance to customers.

Mr. Pridi Daochai, Managing Director of Kasikorn Bank, stated that the tropical storm Pabuk has devastated areas in southern Thailand, causing damage to residents in 9 provinces: Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pattani, Surat Thani, Songkhla, Narathiwat, Chumphon, Trang, Phatthalung, and Prachuap Khiri Khan. As a result, many of the bank's customers in these areas have suffered losses. The assistance measures for affected customers include a maximum deferment of principal payments for up to 6 months for business customers, along with financial support for repairing establishments or revitalizing businesses, with a maximum loan term of 5 years.

For residential loan customers, credit card holders, and cash card users, the bank offers a maximum deferment of principal payments for up to 6 months. Additionally, for residential loan customers, the bank is ready to provide new loan funds for home repairs, with a maximum deferment of principal payments for up to 6 months.
