CCP Sees Positive Outlook for Concrete Industry in the Second Half of the Year, Plans Business Restructuring and New Domestic Partnerships to Enhance Competitive Edge, Expanding Production Capacity Towards Automation to Support Mega Projects, Aggressively Targeting the Eastern Real Estate Market, Boosting Backlog to 2 Billion Baht, Reveals Q2/61 Results with Total Revenue of 345 Million Baht, Down from Last Year, and Total Financial Revenue of 552 Million Baht.

Mr. Arti Thipakornsukasem, Managing Director of Chonburi Concrete Products Public Company Limited (CCP), stated that the overall market direction for concrete products in the second half of the year is expected to improve, supported by investments in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and large-scale government mega projects that are now underway, such as road construction, various electric train station constructions, and industrial estates. Real estate developers are gradually investing in new projects, which will increase the demand for construction materials and concrete products.
In the second half of the year, CCP is in the process of restructuring its business, partnering with domestic allies to enhance the competitiveness of ready-mixed concrete products, and focusing more on the sale of precast concrete. The company will develop production processes to offer a wider variety of products, reduce production time, decrease labor requirements, and increase output. Currently, they are in the process of sourcing and preparing to install new machinery, expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.
“Since the second quarter until now, the company has received a considerable volume of orders for ready-mixed concrete, and we anticipate that the trend for the future will show a continuous increase in demand for precast concrete, which has a higher margin than ready-mixed concrete. The company will focus on proactive marketing, promoting products to increase awareness, and pushing products through all sales channels. We will also continue to participate in bidding for large public-private projects and expand our customer base,” said Mr. Arti.
